Eat healthy, exercise...............
.......and die anyways.
Is that what sex does...
with a partner even?
The other half & I mtn bike and have been doing so for almost 2yrs.. We no longer look like beached whales...We bike about 5 times a week, on & off road. (When we go back to Canada for a visit..i want to bike in whistler...)
I've just started a triathlon training class (beginner runner here..) and love it.
I wanna be like the 70 yr olds who pass me in the pool & the bike paths...
ps-nooky's good as well however i like fresh air too...
Eating healthy is very important, train at the gym every second day and push my self to do a little better than the day before, lots of running, lots of weights. hockey, football, soccer, basketball, etc, etc ..I was forced to try pilates once…yup I admit it..….20 more 10 more…….come on people do you feel the burn..….ya… kind of boring…..UNLESS…. your at the back of the class you know what I mean?…….I vill pump you up!
In the summer, jogging and swimming.
In the winter, snowboarding and hockey.
In between, gym class.
Plus a balanced diet helps alot.
Volleyball twice a week
Football twice a week
Innertube Waterpolo once a week (Real polo if I could find a team)
Soccer when I can find players
Climbing at least once a month
I've just started to train for a spring marathon
I also race (roadbikes) as much as possible
Sex is also good
If anyone really wants to lose weight though I would strongly suggest go tree planting for the summer
Balanced diets are crap ;p
What kind of climbing, Chemist?
In the winter I climb in saskatoon rock gyms, this summer I got out to white buddha a couple of times. Mostly I boulder/free solo but when I'm in the gym they usually make me tie in. I've climbed in Mexico and BC aswell but I don't know the location names. What type of climbing do you do?
Just started bouldering in the late summer... just in the gym for now - I've been taking lessons, but the person teaching them is over a foot shorter than me, so I've been having to learn my own techniques (realized I do a hell of a lot better if I skip half the holds on a lot of the problems she makes), so it was a bit slow at first getting the basics. I'm hoping to be in good enough shape to hit the outdoors by the spring.
Rope climbing is okay, but I tend to like the problem solving type routes, and the non vertical walls are a bit more challenging.
The best thing you can do is make routes using pinch and slope holds, skip the jugs and positive holds. This will improve your balance and grip a lot. I love spending time on the cave roof in our local gym, it's probably the most fun i've had in a gym other than insane dyno's
