I figure we might as well be using this forum since everyone wanted it.
What activities do you currently do, other than sitting at the computer? Anything from team sports to exercise classes to outdoor activities... as long as you're getting some exercise, post it here!
For 9-10 hours a day... I unload trucks with a hand jack, (not a fork lift) and hand bomb about 160-250 casesOf produce
Avg weight aprx40 lb per case.
These are my load days three times a week.
Then there is Beer day... that's about 6 skids of beer. 4 which are misc 24's
And 2 skids of 12's, sixes and misc imports.
OOoo alcohol day... about 100 cases handbombed onto the dock and stocked.
Physical activity?
Working out?
it's the 8th years that I make Karate.
I have a personal trainer that takes me for a drag 30-45 minutes a day.
I play some light scrimmage of Hockey at the campus for a couple of hours. I also do some arm presses (bench 170) and other work out excercises.
Lots of SSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEXXXXXXXXXXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sex). Best exercise a person can get.
I walk from the train station to my office, 9 clicks X2. I don't walk when it rains because I might melt. Volleyball every thursday night.
Used to play street hockey at lunch time but now injured.
pilates.....and lots of walking with the pup
biking mostly, X-C skiing in the winter, and occassional frisbee
well, over the summer (may-aug) i lost 30 lbs by walking around putting boxes of flowers (you know the buckets of bunches of flowers you in grocery stores like Loblaws, Fortinos, etc?) on skids to be shiped all over the country at work, then either going for a jog of about a mile or 2 at home, or an 1/2 -1 hour long bike ride.
now i am keeping even merely by taking the 20 min walk (1 way) to and from school a couple times a day. Oh yeah, and eating food that has some sort of nutritional value helps too.
What shape??? There are different techniques for different shapes.
I was just born this way.
I go through cycles... or phases... I might train at the gym for up to a year, then I might mountain bike a lot (time permiting), right now it's just me and the weight bench at home. I'm often doing sets between evening posts on here!
Daily PT kept me in shape for 27 years during my service days and I still keep at it. I don't jog long distances anymore, only short distances now. My daily window cleaning really keeps me in shape, climbing and hauling those ladders back and forth. Eating healthy and stay away from the junk food!
