Awesome, I was gonna remind ya...

No worries AR, I'm very much looking forward to seeing the pics. How far do you have to travel to get to the game?

I'm going to take my camera to the Saturday night game against Calgary. I'll take lots of pics of those pink uniforms. That is such a cool event. I might even put a bid in on one of the jerseys, for WRG, since pink is just her favorite colour... [door]

20 miles, so not a problem as long as it's not a blizzard out. Those can be the worst 20 miles on the QE 2 between Cal and Ed. It always causes problems for those city people that want to travel at 140 on it.

Q do you know who else uses the Storm's bus? It just got reported for careless driving on the QE2 around Red Deer. It was something about creating whiteout conditions, I was watching curling and wasn't really paying attention until I heard it was the GPS bus.

I don't know who else uses it. The Storm are here this weekend for two games Friday and Saturday night so it ain't them. Mindyou, all the teams here are called the Storm basically, so it could be any of the teams using it including a few girls teams. (Or they were just mooning all the people in Red Deer... )

this was not only a great game, but a great event with the annual "Shoot for the Cure" game where the boys wear PINK uniforms to raise money to fight Breast Cancer. Every game worn jersey was auctioned off during the game with 100% of the proceeds going to the Canadian Cancer Society

Great Job tonight Boys in helping with such a great cause and for winning this particular game
GO STORM!!!!!

Here is a picture I took after the game of all the players in their pink uniforms

Here are a few vids I took also..(I'll post more pics later)

Tomorrow night, they Travel to Olds to take on the Grizzles. After the last meeting between these two teams, this could very well be a violent affair. (AR will be there to take pictures of all the fights that are likely to break out... )

All good things must come to an end. Giving credit where credit is due, it sure sounded like the Olds Grizzlys played a much better game than my Grande Prairie Storm. After an amazing double winning streak, 14 straight games won and 14 straight road games won, The Olds Grizzlys ended both of those streaks tonight in Olds by a score of......

Well Q I spent most the first period stuck in the snow ( won’t go into that ) and then found out once inside that they now have netting in front of the stands. So we had to find a place along the glass, that didn’t have a puck bruise in the way. Stood along the boards in the Olds end for the second and all the play was in the Storms end. So then I thought we’d be in the right end for the third and GP played a strong period and most of the play was in the other end again.

So never really got to many good opportunities to snap that perfect picture. Even the minor scrap happened at the other end. But now you know what the Road Uni's look like.
