And it wasn't much of a fight, from 200' away.

If it would have been a closer game it could of exploded, Olds wasn't interested in fighting once they were up 4 - 0. Even the nasty hit from behind with 2 minutes left didn't draw a response.

Sure sounded, especially in the third, that Boulanger had a very strong game between the pipes for Olds. I'm actually glad the game wasn't an all out slug fest like it was in GP. You're right, with Olds being up 4-0, why would they want to give the Storm even the possibility of a spark by getting into a bunch of scraps possibility ending up on the bad end of penalty trouble.

Sure hope you enjoyed the game and make it out to a few more of them before the year is out. I sure do enjoy seein my boys in their road jerseys. We have only 9 more home games after the Christmas break here in GP, Me thinks I won't be missing any of them...

It was touch and go for a while. He put his blankie down when his "other boys" scored on the Islanders.

(Sitting here this morning admiring his new fly rod didn't hurt either )

   

HIS new flyrod??? I thought the new one was yours.......tell him you want an original Hardy "Princess" reel to go with your rod....

   

I bought two....one for her, one for me....

That was yesterday!


We're both getting antsy for spring to come again. As much as the hunting season kept us busy, and hockey's been great. we're both chompin' at the bit to get back on the rivers. I get regular (usually close to daily) tips, tricks of the trade, lessons, etc. while we wait.


(Not complaining)
