Keep him but bench his ass. He's done nothing since he got to Toronto.

getting more goals, assists and points than anyone on the team every year and being a leader in the dressing room is doing nothing? in that case i think the leafs should do whatever it takes to get the kind of player you think does something cuz they would be amazing. they would make gretzky look like wade belak.
I think this guy is drunk or stoned cause he dont know what he is talking about either that he is a loser that knowes nothing about hockey lol

I'd take him RIGHT AWAY with the Habs. But it would be a great mistake if the Leafs trade him.

it would be because you never know if he is goin to come back and you cant just give away talent like that

An interesting article came out today HERE in the Vancouver Sun, it uses the example of a Sundin trade to Vancouver, and shows why last minute trades for Sundin-like players are not very tempting to the majority of teams who might have cause to trade for them this year.

Basically it comes down to this...

$1:
"I think the price and return for top players will be higher than it's ever been," predicted Carolina Hurricanes GM Jim Rutherford. "There simply aren't that many top players who will be available so the bidding for those who are just keeps going up."

yeah but that one player can change the whole team like if sundin went there i could see him playing on with the sedins something that he has done before so i think they could pull it off

Maybe, but would it be worth gutting what looks like a talented youth core to get a 37 year old player for one playoff run.

I think a lot of teams other than Vancouver are in that position, so you'd have to factor that into any possible fantasy trade for Sundin.

Plus they'd most likely want a 2008 first round draft choice. From Vancouver's perspective, I'd hope Nonis would say forget about it.

yeah he is a rental to get a team to the stanley cup and i think he could help any team in the right position to do it and i think some teams would make the trade to get him no matter what the cost
