????? Actually read your quoted text above, and think about what you are asking. Yes, some crimes are more serious than others. I'm pretty sure we've discussed this previously. We need more cops.

My point is that traffic offences are also very serious. Here's another way to look at it. How many murders occurred in your home town last week????? Sexual offences???? Violent home invasions??? OK, now compare that to speeders, or guys with no insurance, or expired registration, or mud flaps that aren't to spec...do I need to go on??? We need more cops.

OK. I'm done talking to you about this. If you really want to share thoughts, and discuss opinions, let me know and I will take you and furby off my "ignore" list. We need more cops.

   

Maybe we would not need more police officers if we did not have so many police officers employed in the traffic division.

   

Sonofsam and furby, you both need to grow up. The police are there to uphold the law, all the laws, not just the ones you specify. Using your logic that they should always be working and never stop for a break, what do you propose we do about firemen or the military? It seems to me that fire fighters spend about 90% of their time sitting around the fire hall, and the military hardly ever go to war.
For near eight pages I read your rantings about speeding, and how all cops are just donut swilling bums. You two owe me for wasting my time reading some of the most asinine comments ever to be posted on this site. Fucking grow up!

Sonofsam you fully agreed with my comments on another thread and now I'm thick? So you agree with a thick person, or maybe you don't? Little indecision going on here. Like what you added about what the military and fire fighters should do though, very insightful and well thought out argument. You are possibly the smartest man in Canada, feel free to inform all of us which laws we can ignore. Send me your home address so I can "borrow" your generator, after all I don't agree with the laws concerning theft!

Oh yea, before I forget, make sure you cleaned that shotgun and have it loaded, maybe you might get a chance to defend yourself. But I doubt it, because I'll just plug your stupid ass at about 600m with my lovely little rifle. Does any of this show how stupid your argument is about ignoring laws is, who decides which laws to ignore? I break the speed limit daily, but I realise that if the police pull me over they win, I lose. Life is full of choices, we all make them, you just have to be prepared to suffer the consequences, something you agreed with in another thread.

   

It works both ways 2Cdo. You agreed with me in another post, yet here you tell me to grow up. So, which is it? If I get pulled over for speeding who's fault is that? It is my fault, and I will pay the ticket. What I am saying is that there are bigger problems then speeding.

And, choosing to ignore the speed limit in not as serious as murder or theft, is it? How fast do you think I am going when I speed? Maybe 100-150 over the limit? Maybe 20 kms when I am on the highway and thats it, I do not speed through town, I do not speed in populated areas, I like to go a little over the limit on the highway, how many people speed?
