Jesus Christ! I just heard on the news that the Danish plan to hold a protest where they start burning a bunch of Qu'rans.....

So much for "never again"........

we're fucked as a species if this is how we decide to deal with conflict.

   

ummmm,I think that was put online(blogs) by fundamentalists to further rile the Muslims,maybe you saw a different newscast.Care to post a link to where Danish authorities have condoned this?

Now why would the Danish government condon it ziggy? if there is a call to burn the Quran it's from radicals and racists and I'm sure they're not waiting for a permit from the government to hold the rally.

I guarantee that the Danish authorities do not condone it. In fact Danish authorities did not condone the newspaper ads either.

I saw it on CBC Newsworld........I expect the Danish authorities will do everything they can to prevent this from taking place....I hope they succeed.

It's a knee jerk reaction to respond this way when someone "attacks" you....

Newspaper attacks Islam => Islam attacks Denmark => Denmark attacks Islam..

It's natural to respond that way, we need to get past these act without thinking responses.....

   

Awfully self righteous of you to assume the Danish don't know how to act appropriately to the situation, but you do.

   

The cartoons should never have been published in the first place. The editors should have known what was going to happen, "who cares if riots occur and people get hurt, we sold news papers and will sell a pile more cause of this "Issue" we created". Free speech my ass.

   

I'm sure it is a small minority of Danish people. That is why I said the Hwackers, Motorcycleboys, and BartSimpsons of Denmark....

All societies have those types of people....Right now the muslim ones are burning embassies and the danish ones are getting ready to burn Qu'rans.
