I'm talking about the needless waste of life going on overseas, and your spouting about ME?
I'm flattered, but I assure you we would have many more living Canadains and alot less terrorism if we urged our neighbours to avoid pissing on the rest of the planet and if we resisted their requests to put out their fires.
Next we'll be reconstructing Iraq once the Americans pull out and leave the place in an even bigger mess then before. And the Americans will be invading yet another country in their rentless persuit of an enemy they created themselves, an enemy that gets stronger the more they try to snuff it out.

Thankless, I don't think so. I would prefer each one of our troops comes home alive and well. And we should hold them in higher regard and give them wars worth fighting, and fights worth dying for.

Negative. People aspire to the same things, but become what they become due to their environment. They come to Canada/US because of the Environment, not because of the People. Besides, if they were the way they were somewhere else, then why haven't they continued to be the same here?
It's people that create the environment. As to why they don't continue to act the same? We have the rule of law in our Western societies, unlike these other places. Unfortunately, well intentioned individuals, are helping to erode this through multi culturalism. What happens, is ethnic ghettos form and Canada ends up an outpost of the Third World.

Ya, they hate us and it has nothing to do with the trillions of dollars the Americans spend on the military.
It has nothing to do with Americans involvement in Afganistan and the Soviets, finding both sides of the Iran/Iraq war, invading Iraq and killing hundreds of thousands.
It has nothing to do with the funneling for billions into Israel and the oppression of the palistianians and the Lebanon.
It has nothing to do with the west's involvement in installing dictators around the world who oppress and murder the populations... And nothing to do with the west's involvement in subverting elected governments in foreign countries.
They just hate the west for no specific reason, its in the Koran I think. They hate our "freedon".

Indeed! What about churches on every other block with their demands and each being different because their way is the right way. Just because Bush and Cheney go to church and hatch their terrorists plots somewhere besides their church building Ha ha, and women wearing "burkas".
