Come on Bart, your example has nothing to do with being pro-life.
Even people who aren't pro-life have a problem with what those doctors did.

Of course. But to answer your question there's people who are pro-life who want the death penalty for these doctors for what they've done.

(For the record the doctors admitted to this in the course of a civil lawsuit against them)

Fair enough... but let's get these pro-lifers on the line so that they can justify their position.

it's interesting that Judaism doesn't forbid abortion. In fact, in the Talmud it stipulates that if the fetus threatens the well being of the mother, it must be removed, because it is only a potential life. It's only when the baby is halfway out that it is considered a living human being...also there is none of that original sin BS the Christians go on about. Another funny thing is the Pidyon ha-Ben, which is where you have to buy your first born(all first born children and animals belong to God) back from God after 31 days.

And does God repossess the kids if mom and dad don't pay up?

I utterly oppose the death penalty in cases where the accused is convicted solely on circumstantial evidence. I also oppose it when the victims contributed to their own demise by being criminals. What I mean by that is that some murder victims are not entirely innocent. Like if a hit man kills five members of a rival drug cartel I'm really not interested in equating his victims with law abiding citizens. True, that's not equal justice under the law, but all the same...

Kind'a like the Rock Machine in Quebec. The cops there really didnt' give a shit when they were killing memebers of rival bike gangs, but one car bomb that killed(might have "just" been seriously injured I can't remember off hand) a kid and WHAM! The cops have been all over the bikers since then.

Are you pro-life? Are you for the death penalty?
An argument I was making in another thread seems appropriate here.
I I:
If a person uses their life to produce a sufficient negative influence it's possible to deserve death as a way of protecting the state of the world from that person's attacks, so I do support a limited implementation of capital punishment and lethal force. However, it is not possible to deserve death without having exercised agency (badly), so no fetus yet deserves death under that principle.
