Deer and now BEARS in the yard

just hire some paddy to wear a fur coat and live in your back yard and growl once in awhile

I tried posting a moose but the board thought I was a spammer, LOL.

Here we go again.

I get home from work, unlock the front door and let my dogs out. They go tearing into the backyard and all hell breaks loose. As I run into the back yard, rifle in hand ( with all the bears around the last while I have one where I can get to it with ease) there are my dogs toe to toe with a fairly large Black Bear. As I rounded the corner of the house I guess the bear decided three against one was getting a little much for him so he took off, dogs hot on his heals. Up a big Poplar tree he went. After deciding not to shoot the bear and getting the dogs put on their runs, I went and got my camera and "shot" a few pics of him. He must have stayed in that tree for well over an hour before he came down and headed off. Adventures in living in the sticks!!!!!

He is a cuddly looking fellow isn't he.... :wink:

The entire time I'm taking his picture, he was talking to me and snapping his teeth together trying to be all tough even though he's 30 feet up a tree hiding..... :lol:

He'd look great in front of your fireplace too. :lol:

Guess they're out beefing up for the winter. A couple friends of mine had a few bear stories tonight too.
