I'm getting ready to go on a fishing trip on Monday. A couple of buddies and I are drifting about 50kms of the Blackwater River and should be out there till Thursday. Tonight, I'm getting ready. Loading the camper on the truck, putting a new roof vent door in the camper, stuff like that. I'm walking over to where I have my tools to grab a ratchet so I can take the canopy off my pickup, when I see a beautiful Mule deer doe feeding in my only neighbors front yard. Luckily my camera was in my truck so I got a few shots of her.

   

Doesnt everyone have a pet deer in their yard?

Here's my bambi. He likes the berries on my mountain ash tree outside my window here,havent got a saddle on him yet though.Not sure how they are to ride but their tasty in the bbq.

   

Hard to eat sometimes because their so fucking cute!

   

in a few more months, if that happens again make sure she goes from yard to freezer.

calves and piglets are cute too, but it's never stopped me from eating veal or roast suckling.

I'll have to get some pics of my pet bear as well. Only caught a glimpse of him a couple times so far this year so far.

I keep pretty good tabs on it,my longbow is close by me.He wouldnt even hear the arrow slicing through his vitals.

   

We take it for granted,deer and bear in the yard all the time.Some people pay big money just to see one.

   

i find bear too greasy and strong tasting

   

I've never killed a bambi. Killed his dad quite a few times mind you, but never a bambi.

   

and you cant eat a griz,did you know that?
