You are entitled to your opinion, no need to apologize for that.

I don't really see the big deal, whoopie it looks like the Nazi Symbol. Nazi's are dead, hitler is long gone, and germany is not allowed a army anymore, and further more couldn't afford one. GET OVER IT NEWS REPORTERS!!. They are really starting to run out of things to report on lol.
Uhhmmm, Nazi's are not dead, Germany has an army (It is called "Bundeswehr", and has 250,000 military personnel), and Swastika's are still a big thing here, because not everybody who survived the Second WW, and their kids, are dead...
It is a shame that building was built that way in the 60's.
You can find nazi wannabes in almost every military in the West and Russia as well. If anything the Germans are extremely careful about removing those who express sympathies regarding the Third Reich, within their military.
I'm another one who looks at this and thinks people should just give it up... so the four buildings together have the general shape of a swastika... so what?
The bleeding hearts and crazies were obviously bored when they picked up on this. Yes Europe has a problem with the swastika... however this building isn't in bloody Europe, its in NA.
Christ wait till these people find out how common the swastika is in India... they'd all have god damn strokes.

Oh yeah, the Twin Towers were in the US, not in Europe. We better not care then, eh?
India ain't the US or Europe either. They were common in India before Hitler thought it looked nice. Ever since it should not be an accepted form in the western world.
It's all over the place here. Buddhist temples are adorned with them and all vegetarian restaurants have them.

Yes you can find Nazi wanna-be's but the key word is wanna-be. You aren't going to find a Nazi threat, because Nazi's are over with. Unless some how, a group of rebel wanna-be nazi teenagers muster up a army of other revel wanna-be nazi's and somehow grouped together and got a major stockpile of weapons and re-created hitlers acts.

Because terrorist attacks that kill thousands are so equal to "unfavourable design characteristics" in a certain group of buildings.

You missed my point completely.

Aren't these the other way around?

Nobody suggested that the existance of this building implies some sort of Nazi threat. Nobody is worried about that, so stop pretending they are.
This is an
American Navy Barracks built 20 years after WW2 that resembles the symbol of their enemy in that war. Maybe the significance of symbols like this means nothing to you, but it seems to mean a lot more to the military, and
living in a giant swastika probably isn't great for morale.
For some reason, the people who think it's not a big deal seem to be the ones making it a huge deal.

I didn't miss your point, I just don't think your point holds water.

yes. some figure that the nazis intentionally reversed the swastika. The Buddhist one is supposed to represent the wheel of life turning in a clockwise fashion of birth, death and rebirth.

like you stated earlier, the way the buildings are set up is a good idea, creating a series of open ended courts.

Then wth are the Nazi-things called Swastika's, AND did it come up in this discussion as being the same thing?
