I haven't got a romantic bone in my body. For our one year anniversary of dating I bought my boyfriend a roller cabinet, he bought me a .22. We did get married, and on our 1 year wedding anniversary we went to the dump.
You know it!
My GF who became my wife lived a part for a while as I had moved to another city. Before one of her visits, I spent six hours cutting out a hundred hearts from red paper, wrote a romantic saying on each one, then posted it all over my apartment so she could see it when she came in after I picked her up from the airport.
keep the ideas coming....it's our 2nd year (dating) anniversary the beginning of April. I'm not very good at romance either...and I'm on a TIGHT budget.
Roses delivered to her work with a little stuffed animal. Showing how much you care in front of her coworkers is huge brownie points. Make a fancy dinner (something she likes of course ), and a small gift.
My bf and I's 2 year anniversary is coming up too, March 26, and I have made him a book. I went out and bought a really nice journal and I spent a couple days thinking of all of my faviourite memories of us. THen I wrote them in in chronological order. It has lots of empty pages afterwards so we can fill it in together as more things happen.
As well I am goign to be going back to Canada for a few weeks but I will be staying in Toronto, ot so he things. I have organized things with his sister so I can stay at her place for the first night in Winnipeg, and then the next day I am going to surprize him at work, cause I know when his lunch break is, and I have got a really nice lunch planned. I even made sure it was okay with his grandmother that we have a nice evening alone at their shared apt that night too.
I asked a girl oot on a date and on the morning of the date I went to a shopping mall and found the biggest snow pile I could find. I brought a shovel and dug out the entire inside and made a neet big ole snow fort. At supper time I walked over to my dates house and I called a cab that I had already cued to what location we were going to. He dropped us off at the snow fort where I had a warm picnic style dinner waiting with wine and candles. It was so much fun and the dates eyes were lit up in excitement the entire time.
I have a billion of these romantic moments... yet Im single =(...
If you made me eat dinner in a hole in the middle of a parking lot, I wouldn't be lookin' forward to a second date.
yet your idea of a 2nd anniversary romance is an afternoon at the dump? I can see how we don't see eye to eye...
you have to keep in mind that his was in Saskatoon... there wasn't much traffic or people around, very private and warm
Where in Saskatoon?
Wal-mart!
I'm sorry SwampoO, I'm sure your date turned out just fine.
Well, not everybodies idea of romance coincides with yours, give him a break. Pleasing women nowdays isn't exactly a cup of tea now is it?
