We danced on the deck of the Toronto Island ferry to the sounds of the city echoing across the lake.

Shaved the pubes off. It was her birthday and all.

nice dinner & a stroll along the shores of a river at sunset.

I once bought a bag of hershey kisses and replaced all the tags in each one with something 'special' handwritten on tiny little pieces of paper.... sounds like a good idea, but it took me forever.

Most romantic thing I had done for was my ex picking me a whole jar of wild strawberries (I love them), even though she's allergic.

Went to a monster truck rally (natually I assumed she would like it). Could feel the icy stares for 2 hours but the smell of rubber and smoke and Gravedigger smashing a row of cars took my mind off it.

Took a gf for midnight drive accross the prarie then danced to Wilco's One to one in the dark.

Most romantic thing is a tough question ....
I would say Serve tender prime rib and alaskan King Crab legs , make Baileys Irish Creme together from scratch , sneak into the Cave and Basin in the middle of the night and soak in the natural hot springs and ......

.....what are you waiting for ? the rest is none of your business

All I will say is this.

If you and your significant other go to the Empire State Building in the evening, about an hour or so before it closes, (say 10:30),...

and go to the small round room at the top of the tower, not the 86th floor observatory floor, but the 102nd floor room,...

the small room which slowly creaks and moves in the night wind,...

and if the two of you dawdle around there and become inconspicuous, you might find yourself left alone for awhile.

Plan ahead & bring champagne.
