But why? If you don't care what people think about you on here, why is what people write about you such a huge deal? Your story doesn't add up.

   

It does add up Blue, because Ice Owl is human like the rest of us. He may know that Bart and the rest of us are assholes, and not care about our opinion, but it's still shitty being would up like that, even if the person doing the winding up is an asshole and not worth the time of day. They still take up your attention and energy which is what is so annoying, even if you don't want to let yourself go down that route.

It's all supposed to just be a bit of fun on the forums, after all, it's not reality is it? But Bart has been a provokative asshole, and we do often allow ourselves to get personal here. And if everyone was nasty to me on the forums, then yes, I would take it personally even though I don't even know you all. Can't help it. So ultimately Ice Owl flipped out and I can't blame him. I probably would have cracked long ago myself.

I'd second the Annoying nomination for Bart if only I didn't suspect that he'd revel in it.

   

Bart hasn't been nominated, thus no need to second it. That was a joke.

   

I'm sure this is the medal he revels in. One of CKA's great mysteries is how he was awarded it.

   

That sig of Bart's has been up for a coon's age. It has only become an issue over the last day or two when someone threw a hissy fit and, self admittedly, began behaving like a 13 yr old. Bart hasn't been provocative at all, or at least he wan't the instigator of this mess. This is all the result of someone who takes himself far more seriously than anybody else does. Stick around a little longer and you'll see that this type of behaviour from IceOwl is his SOP and not some abberation. It isn't his first tantrum, nor will it be his last.

   

Yes, but after asking and asking, in PMs and in the forum, and getting nowhere, that's when Ice Owl threw a hissy fit and got rude. I remember him asking to remove it months back but then dropping it. Personally, knowing it was upsetting someone would be enough reason for me to remove it, but then I like everyone to be happy. And I do think Bart was out of line posting the PMs as well. If Lily doesn't flip out about breaking the sacred oath of privacy, then I will.

(And I knew the Bart medal thing was a joke, or at least a theoretical postulation.)
