IceOwl IceOwl:
Having a level head usually involves not throwing tantrums when people criticize your poor behaviour, and not being a bigot toward people because of their religion. I vote no.
Coming from you that's a compliment, you are just pissed because your nazi days on the CKA chat room are over. It seems you are the one that threw the tantrum, and if you have any links to me being a bigot then post them. Otherwise STFU. You are one reason I wouldn't be a mod, just so I could keep telling you to kiss my ass hippy.

And that is why most people here believe you would make an excellent moderator, you can distinguish between telling some flake to piss off because you personally find them obtuse and using your authority for personal vindictive purposes. Those of us on all sides politically who have visited other boards know exactly what I speak off.

Pissed? Over? I left because I got bored.

I suppose this is your idea of being level-headed?

Just the fact that so many bigots are giving you the thumbs up should give the mods a huge warning sign that including you in their ranks would be a bad idea.
I know you haven't been around for awhile so you're out of the loop, but I have gotten support from both sides of the forum. Not just from the people you consider 'bigots'. The fact that you don't like me is no surprise, I disagree with just about everything you say. I'm still waiting to see those posts where I was being a bigot.

I suggest we wait for the outcome of the poll. I feel that RUEZ is one of the few who has solid support from across the political spectrum and I believe the comments here reflect that.

You may have a problem with RUEZ but knowing you, I'd blame you rather then RUEZ as you pretty much have a problem with everyone.

It's interesting that IceOwl calls everyone who supports RUEZ a bigot. Definition of bigot is...

a person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief, or opinion.

Ironic no?

No, since I didn't call everyone who supports RUEZ a bigot.
Do tell, let's have a list of who you think the bigots are. I'm sure everyone involved would like to know what the great IceOwl thinks of them.

So who are you referring to? People on the opposite side of the spectrum to you?

While he doesn't seem interested in the position, Yes to RUEZ is my vote here. It's symbolic more than anything, but that doesn't hurt. :)

xerxes @ Mon Feb 19, 2007 7:49 pm

While I most certainly would welcome Ruez as a moderator, I'm still of the opinion that this is the sort of thing should not be voted on. I feel the same way for the election of judges.

ShepherdsDog @ Mon Feb 19, 2007 7:50 pm

Well anything that IceOwl is against has to be good for everyone else, so he gets my nod.

It's not that I'm not interested, I'd certainly give it some thought if offered. I do however like to mix it up at times especially in the political discussions, and I don't always get along with everyone. I wouldn't want it if I had to keep my opinions to myself, that's all I'm saying. But it's not whether I get it or not, it's just an honour to be nominated.

Me to, but I like Ruez but then again what ever IceOwl is against I'd vote for just out of spite. God forgive me for my sins. I'm a bitch and evil or so I'm told.

I don't know. How about the government nominates a few choices and we get to vote for the one we want.
