Agreed. The DNC is being poorly run these days. Both nationally, and on the state level.

Don't let the Democrats fool you. They're not poorly run they just want you to think so because an appearance of incompetence is easy camouflage for corruption and deceit.

In this case the Democrat machine is trying their damndest to steal the election for their anointed one, Hillary.

2nd place in one primary election is not a loss. He's still in it and so is Rubio even at a distant third place.

He is still in it, but he finished First Loser. Much of his campaign was about him being a winner and his opponents being losers.

Can we trust a Loser to make America Great Again?

Edit: grammar

For the Democrats New Hampshire is expected to go to Sanders and not by any small margin.

Considering Bernie lives in Vermont, anything less than 70% would be a disaster for him.

When will this thing be down to the final two? I would google it but I would rather just have one answer not a googzoodle.
Also Happy Tunesday. [B-o]

I'm thinking anything less then 60% would be his doom. To me Hillary can get 40% of the liberals to swing her way just out of fear that backing Bernie will marginalize them in some way.

Dem's have played this trick before and I'm sure Hillary is more then willing to go as dirty and mean as she can. She didn't so much VS Obama (Trying to clean up her image some I think) and I feel this time around she will let it get as dirty as she can in the hopes of winning this time around.

Bright side for Bernie is it's his ideas that can be attacked not his person. Overall he fits to well into the Dem's thinking of how to be for her to attack him personally and get any positive out of it.

Bernie Sanders is the biggest winner because when he announced his candidacy he was laughed at.

Ted Cruz is what's wrong with the Right and if Trump lost because religious Conservatives didn't believe he wasn't Christian enough so be it.

Both parties elect their final candidate in July. So come August it comes to a 1 on 1 fight. Presidential election is in Nov. of this year.

True on both points. We'll see what happens to Trump in New Hampshire next week. Iowa is chock full of Republican voting evangelicals and not even Trump's Palin gambit was enough to draw them away from Cruz.

Trump ran largely on his name and didn't a lot of actual politicking. Cruz on the other hand, had a good ground game in Iowa which I think is fair to say, made a difference.

But, but when they see Hillary for Prez, they'll swallow their bibles and vote Trump.

Anything can happen at this point.

It's also worth pointing out, that on the GOP side of things, Iowa is hardly a good predictor of who the nominee will be. Remember the winners of the last two Iowa Caucuses? Rick Santorum and Mike Huckabee. Just sayin'.

martin14 @ Tue Feb 02, 2016 10:49 am

And let's not forget Reagan skipped the last debate in Iowa, and lost the caucus as well.

N_Fiddledog @ Tue Feb 02, 2016 11:31 am

I suspect Iowa did matter this time.

It tarnished the varnish of seeming invincibility on both Trump and Clinton.

Watch the turnout in New Hampshire. It was a record in Iowa. Will it be in NH. I'm thinking maybe not.

The cumulative effect of Iowa and New Hampshire could ruin Trump if he loses there as well.

Also, Trump is no Reagan so that comparison is meaningless. Reagan was able to sell the Conservative message. Trump can only sell Trump.

Also, advanced polling didn't mean much in Iowa, but watch the polls now. If they start to shift for New Hampshire that will be significant, I bet.

stratos @ Tue Feb 02, 2016 11:51 am

I'm in the total opposite frame of mind here. Trump coming in second is NOT a loss. If in N.H. the top 3 are still miles away from the rest the rest will drop out and leave it as a 3 man race. After that then the 1'st and 2nd place in votes will really start to count.
