No, but it's the first time he was stupid enough to do that when the whole friggin' country was watching.

He should have saved most of that for his inaugural speech. Now it'll just be handy fodder for whatever Republican runs against him in the fall.

Keep in mind that most Democrats down here are still to the right of your Conservatives. If they start to pay attention then it'll just help Hillary and it'll definitely help the Republican.

That's been an ongoing joke for some time but it really doesnt stand up to scrutiny.

Take Harper vs Obama

Obama is left of Harper on almost every issue.

Same sex marriage, energy policy, corporate taxation, immigration, stance towards Israel/Palestine conflict, Gun control, etc.

That Canada stands further to the left is the real difference. Obama is constrained from any drastic movement to left in the same way that the conservatives were constrained from any drastic movement to the right. But that isn't to say that Canada doesn't have a small population whom are as far right as the Tea party or that the US doesn't have a small population that is as far left as the NDP.

Definitely want to see one of them snap and start saying this over and over and over again. Bill Clinton might have already used it though as he was surveying the top of Monica's head.

   

Next dem. debate is in two days. Bernie has been a total gentleman so far. Should he turn up the heat? Should he start dragging some of Hillary's dirty laundry out into the light? She has a lot of political baggage.
