Where is the bones, bodily remains of the last former horse? Former fish?

Um, you know we found those, right?

Really, if he's going to test us at all, is it going to be on how smart and intelligent we are, or how mindlessly sheep-like we are?

Well, God did get mighty pissed off at Adam and Eve for becoming intelligent. Maybe he wants us to be sheep, in which case B_C and Durandal are probably his favourite of the flock.

Blue_Nose Blue_Nose:
Durandal, I see you declined the opportunity to back up your claims of "evolutionist brainwashing".

Blue_Nose, as I said 5 pages ago :

Durandal Durandal:
Because I'm only a begginer in evolutionism, I won't be able to prove you [DerbyX or else] completely false on every aspects of this subject, unlike other topics where I have greater knowledge, so I will limit myself to basic stuff like wings and birds.

Blue_Nose Blue_Nose:
You're calling it intelligently designed only because you're looking at it today and seeing it work the way it has always worked. If wings didn't function the way they were supposed to, they wouldn't be a characteristic passed on through generations.

 Crap, that does not explain how they first came up with the damn thing. Heck, "the way it has always been supposed to work"... what ? You are pratically admitting than is was pre-designed (i-e God-made) !

$1:
Evolution does not occur by chance - again, another display of ignorance concerning the concepts you claim to understand. The genetic mutations that cause variation within a species are, to my knowledge, random. The fact that these mutations give some organisms an advantage over others, which allows them to pass their genes on through reproduction, is not random at all (Natural Selection). That these changes slowly cause an animal to adapt to an environment over time is also not random at all (evolution).

Même merde.

So you have NOT provided me with an sensed explanation for the one single thing I asked, apart ranting that I "dont understand evolution" and that "they came up with wings by natural selection".

To Arctic_Menace : I certainly am a sheep of our all mighty Lord... and you guys are sheeps of the godless darwinian religion, hence you are not even able to back-up your theory with solid explaination on the one issue I braught to the debate.

Thanks guys, this was my first evolution debate, and I thing I battled my way through it pretty well ! :P

Wow, you really do live in another world.

They(and I) proved you wrong on many things, and Blue_Nose gave you an especially good whipping.

Well, before you start making baseless claims that wings couldn't have evolved and evolution is brainwashing, it would be prudent to become less than a "begginer". "Begginer" or not, you're still responsible for the things you post.

Durandal Durandal:
Crap, that does not explain how they first came up with the damn thing. Heck, "the way it has always been supposed to work"... what ? You are pratically admitting than is was pre-designed (i-e God-made) !
No, I'm not practically admitting that at all. Wings have served to allow a bird to fly, so any "crappy" wings will be filtered from the gene pool over many generations.

As for the process by which the wings developed in the first place, you obviously didn't pay attention to the link I posted.

In a word, the process you're looking for is exaptation

Durandal Durandal:
So you have NOT provided me with an sensed explanation for the one single thing I asked, apart ranting that I "dont understand evolution" and that "they came up with wings by natural selection".
Other than your ridiculous claims that birds know more than people because they grew wings faster than we built airplanes, I fail to see any point to your questioning. It's not my role to educate you on topics readily available to you elsewhere, and despite your steadfastness, "I don't understand" isn't an argument.

Durandal Durandal:

I wish I could return the sentiment, but you're sadly typical, and I'm not worried that evolution is going anywhere despite your "wings" argument.
