Hey dummy asylum seekers and illegal immigrants are 2 different things. There’s no “catch” of people who come go the border and apply for asylum. Even the pro-Trump propaganda piece in the OP states that. You fail again.

Sometimes they are the same thing given that some border jumpers apply for asylum once they're in custody.

'Americans' can call it whatever the hell they want, but when shit like this happens, it's wrong.

$1:
Michelle Brane, director of migrant rights at the Women’s Refugee Commission, met with a 16-year-old girl who had been taking care of a young girl for three days. The teen and others in their cage thought the girl was 2 years old.

“She had to teach other kids in the cell to change her diaper,” Brane said.

Brane said that after an attorney started to ask questions, agents found the girl’s aunt and reunited the two. It turned out that the girl was actually 4 years old. Part of the problem was that she didn’t speak Spanish, but K’iche, a language indigenous to Guatemala.

“She was so traumatized that she wasn’t talking,” Brane said. “She was just curled up in a little ball.”

This is just one of the many reasons what is happening in the US right now is just so fucking wrong it makes me sick.

So much for the 'shining city on the hill' Ronald Reagan talked about in the '80s.

Are you mad enough to insist and demand that these people be sent to Canada?

Accept families of people willing to undertake arduous and dangerous journeys over hundreds of kilometres rife who deal with food and water shortages and have to contend with gangs, pirates and other human scum?

They don't sound all that different than the original settlers five centuries ago, except they aren't white.

Sure, send them up here - in a generation, we'll have thousands of Hispanic hockey players and soccer players raised by hard working immigrant parents. Sure, said parents might not speak English very well (or at all), but their kids will.

Unlike some people in your country, I don't have a problem with any of that.

Reading all this, one thing has become apparent. We need to elect a Supreme Chancellor. I humbly submit my name to be the Supreme Chancellor of the Pan-Canadian Empire.

Get in line llama66, I already offered my name as a write-in for Emperor of Canada. And I promise to be benevolent.
Heh heh heh

llama66 @ Wed Jun 20, 2018 3:51 pm

I don’t either, but to a point. I don’t wanna be pissing money away on housing refugees. Also, I think we need to ensure our housing situation can handle these refugees. We can’t just take people to show the world how great we are. (They should already know how great we are)

I will notify the local Mexican Consulate that Canada is now willing to accept all the Mexican and Central American immigrants that can make it to your border.

No, I am not kidding.

Yes. Let's guess what happened next.

SHOCKING! DEMOCRATS ARE UNHAPPY THAT TRUMP DID WHAT THEY WANTED HIM TO DO WITH ILLEGAL ALIEN KIDS

$1:
For the past week democrats have been calling Donald Trump a Nazi for detaining illegal alien children separately from criminal illegal alien adults. They demanded he stop the practice immediately and he responded today by signing an executive order that halts separating children from their parents when apprehended sneaking into the country. Amazingly enough, the democrats are not happy that they got exactly what they wanted, because it turns out they wanted something else.

This is yet another reason why there can be no negotiating with democrats. They are unreasonable crackpots with an agenda so twisted even they don’t fully understand it. After Trump signed the EO, here how Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal responded:

"Ending family separation would be a welcome&humane step, but the solution cannot be the immoral&unlawful detention of children. Indefinitely imprisoning children&families is still inhumane&ineffective law enforcement.

— Richard Blumenthal (@SenBlumenthal) June 20, 2018

Blumenthal, if you will remember is the scumbag democrat who compared separating illegal alien children from their criminal parents to the Holocaust and then seemed to blame the extermination of 6 million Jews on the United States. Maybe it’s not that shocking that he’s reacting so irrationally to this.

Let’s check in with California loony-bird Kamala Harris. Surely she will be the voice of reason:

"This Executive Order doesn’t fix the crisis. Indefinitely detaining children with their families in camps is inhumane and will not make us safe.

— Kamala Harris (@SenKamalaHarris) June 20, 2018
"

Hey, at least Republicans get it. Here’s Senator Marco Rubio with an honest assent of the situation:

"The ink isn’t even dry on the new executive order ending separation policy & some Democrats already arguing that keeping families together isn’t enough. Now they want them & their parents released after unlawful entry knowing full well that high % will never appear for hearing"

— Marco Rubio (@marcorubio) June 20, 2018

$1:
Maybe you are starting to get what the democrats really wanted all along. They didn’t want to stop families from being separated, they want to completely end the enforcement of our immigration laws. This was never about the children; it was always about open borders and millions of new Democratic Party voters.

Even a satire newspaper can’t help but mock this Deplorable piece of shit:

Political Scientists Baffled By Trump’s Ability To End Something He Had No Control Over Just Days Ago

The OnionToday 5:15pm

NEW HAVEN, CT—At a loss to explain the mysterious nature of the president’s powers, political scientists were reportedly baffled Wednesday by Donald Trump’s ability to end the practice of separating families who cross the U.S. border seeking asylum mere days after stating that he had no control over it. “Just yesterday, he was explaining that his hands were tied and there was nothing he could do to stop children and infants from being forcibly torn away from their parents and put into cages—but then today, out of nowhere, he suddenly issued an executive order doing just that!” said Bruce Ackerman, a constitutional law professor at Yale University, remarking that this inexplicable development will fundamentally upend how the presidency is understood, because there is no theory in the entire field of political science that explains how it could be possible. “No new amendments to the Constitution have been passed, so the powers vested in the Executive Branch should be the same today as they were yesterday, right? And yet somehow, they have changed! Decades of research will be required before we can even begin to comprehend such a phenomenon. In the meantime, we can only sit back and wonder if there are any other powers the president has yet to discover.” At press time, sources confirmed Ackerman and his colleagues had flipped over an original copy of the Constitution and found a list of previously unknown executive powers that appeared to have been hastily scrawled in with a ballpoint pen. ...
