ok , looks like i can input a wee bit of self introduction into a very heated
argument about politics (some perhaps too personally vindictive).
i admit to having being strongly opinionated myself but realizing that others
have also may have fixated on world cures based on what causes them pain
at a particular moment .it is too easy to react to perceived injustices in life
without taking into account the historical societal underlying causes .
perhaps we are prisoners of our ethnic/religious/political constructs and
require new thinking "outside the box" to really address the big picture
which confronts us all .

No to Republican and Democrat groups. This is a Canadian site.

What would be next? Special subforums for our Albanian friends?

Sure, but only if we have a special subforum dedicated to saluting the differently-abled, transgendered albinos of Papua New Guinea.

And I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.

As an incurable New Democrat I'd volunteer to help moderate the NDP group.

Also thought I'd mention I love the little bits of 'Canadiana' the pop up every time you load up a new page. I have 1 little beef though. I LOVE the poutine photo, problem is that poutine is made with crinkle cut fries which wouldn't be found in any self respecting 'casse-croute' and secondly its clear that the cheese curds were refrigerated instead of room temperature which is why the cheese hasn't melted properly. The gravy is right though =)
