I can imagine their over-joyed reaction:

- no border guards...... well, except the ones with automatic weapons, a winking eye, and an outstretched hand.
- REALLY cheap cocaine and other "tropical" drugs..... plus a governing body that knows absolutely nothing (OR do they?) about them....
- RAMPANT illegal immigrant labour, that is willing to work for a few dollars a day. And when they cant afford to live here; well, Hell - No problem, just STEAL STUFF from everybody else!
- Besides - them Damn Canadians were always worried about a small percentage of their population being "French"..... Well then, why should we worry about Spanish becoming the "Second Language" of the United States?
Plus, they work cheap, dont they?
- No more of those pesky regulations about air and water and crap like that, that moves across a border. Hell, if it kills a few of those new "South-American-Canadians"...... well, we can send somebody up there to "study it" for a few years.....
- And we could FINALLY settle the whole "GUN CONTROL" question! Because nobody in their right mind would be without a gun - if the Canadians rented out to somebody else!.....


Hot Damn! We'd be a LOT better off, without those darned Canucks on our northern border......

I never said Americans shouldn't "CARE" about Canadians I said why do we need to "LEARN" about them.

You know, they can learn everything they need to know about us by watching Jerry Springer. I will suggest to you that we can learn all we need to know as well by watching Red Green.

I would think you would want to know all you could about Canada. Us being neighbours and all. As for reasons why you should learn about Canada.
1. We kicked your ass in 1812 and you dont even know it.
2. We are forced to learn about your country.
3. We supply you with food, power, lumber, and water.
4. Because we are bigger than you.
5. Learning is fun.
6. It would require you to take your head out of your ass and thats good for everyone.

Now with that said. Who cares. So what Americans dont know anything about Canadians. Frankly you dont care and neither do we. But dont sit there and tell us that we arent big players in the world stage. You bomb a country we peacekeep. You wreck and run we do all the hard work. Canadian opioion is respected. We are all in the UN and NATO togeather. According to you your teh only country that matters. Every stop and wonder why Americans have to put Canadian flags on their backs to get respect in europe?? Maybe thats enough reason to LEARN about Canada. If you are satisfied with being ignorant thats fine by me.

(Yes, in Detroit you have to go south to Windsor). But everyone doesn't have to and it's their right not to if they don't want to.

Wingnut if you want a site that really bashes us go to canada sucks. I find it quite enjoyable. You sound like a well read person. People like Nonrev And Rev Blair, Twila to name a few are trying to make you think, to learn, to be more open miinded to other peoples thoughts and opinions. My friend I hated the American people before I came onto this site I found I did not hate the people it is the govtt I dont much care. I learned from reading posts such as yours and Revs and nonrevs.
Hell man I am dating a woman from Missouri shes learning about us I am learning from her. We have all gotta learn from each other man. Or else this world would go to shit in a hand basket. LOl as your friend red green would say'' we are all in this together''.
