Is racisim a problem in Canada?

There better a problem with racism there cause I'm thinking of moving there one day and for once, I would like nice neighbors, not racist, fuckfaced bastards.

I have to agree that racism is a problem in Canada and especially in Western Canada but it goes both ways. It seems that the natives love the race card and play it when things do not go their way.
We all have to become more understanding of the various cultures that make up our country but we cannot allow any one group of people to have special consideration or privaledges over anyone else. We have to stop using race as either a crutch or a stepping stone.
I have seen blatant racism from both sides and for those who do not think it is a problem have your child ask you 'Why did that boy call me a fuckin' whitey?'

I'm a white girl with an Asian boyfriend, and I have to say I have had the most trouble with -racist statements from my fellow Canadians. Canadians just do not seem to be able to accept it when a white woman dates a non-white.

You'd be surprised. My friends(most of whom are white) want me(a brown man) to marry a Japanese girl so that I can ahve little Asian latinos running aroudnw tih anger problems and who know martial arts. In other words, little Canadian super soldiers.

racism against natives here runs so rampant that ppl to this very day applaud the actions of the saskatoon police..but whenever you get distinctly two identifiable groups of ppl in an urban setting(here 65% white 35% native while in larger american cities its white/black/asian/hispanic) you will inevitiably have racism..add in the twist of one of these groups having a much larger finiacial advantage then its like using gasoline to put out a fire

Why does it have to say anything at all. Or are you trying to make every little thing someone does based on race. You want to cry about people treating you bad for dating an Asian. Yet you have more then once voiced hate towards America so your anti Americanism is in many ways the same as being racist. Why you ask because there are Asian, Black ect... American's that you have voiced hate for.

i meant no offense or disrespect...i'm selecting a very small part of this population...hookers are an excellent example of what i meant

like always i did a piss-poor job of getting my message across...just based on my line of work at the time 99% of women who revealed that they only want a black partner and no one else were basically "bad girls"..not saying all women who exclusively state they will only get romantically involved a black man are in fact bad girls

a lot of natives...not all of course have this mindset that we whites are the only ppl capable of racism..non-whites CANNOT be racists
