Wow. Here I thought this was 5 pages relating to the topic...it really cracks me up how off topic these threads get.
For once I didn't cause this...

Run away? Yeah, sorry about that. I had to dash off to get my kids from the gym, feed them lunch, do some shopping, chat with a couple of neighbours, toss in another load of laundry, sort the load I took out to make room.......

Next time I'll be sure to sit by my computer so as to be available to you immediately.

Cripes.
 Spare me the guilt trip. You responded after I did more then once.

If you didn't take a shot at Avro for being a janitor, my apologies. I'll take your word for it, since this site has a crappy search function. However, I don't recall your ever criticizing those who did. Again, my apologies if I missed those posts.
I did every once in a while, but I wasn't aware it was my responsibility.

It's not your responsibility, no. But this is something you apparently feel strongly about, so one would expect you'd have spoken out once or twice. I know I did.
I did too. Seems some of us have a selective memory.

The information is out there if someone were serious about disputing his claim. ;)
I think rather his claim should be proven before we have to dispute it. If not then I can claim my next door neighbour is a rapist and it's up to him to prove he isn't.

RUEZ @ Sun Mar 25, 2007 3:23 pm

lily lily:
Sure.... but think of the triumphant moment you could have by proving him wromg. ;)
Too much work to prove someone wrong who hasn't proven they were right in the first place.

You knew what you were saying when you said it. But you said it anyways. Don't worry, it's not an original thought of yours. It's LPoC doctrine.

I'm not mad at you, I don't know you, hell we could probably have a couple drinks(I don't do alcohol) and not even care what the other thinks.

But I ramble, so which post was it you wanted me to re-examine?

yes I knew conservatives would get upset even though that wasn't my intention, what was I supposed to do not post something that I think is true just because it's going to upset a few people. It wasn't insulting, I wasn't derogatory in anyway I didn't say conservatives are less educated, or dumb or stupid or lazy whatever Tricks imagines.

I've dug up some surveys that support my argument, its not damning evidence by any means but I think its relevant to the argument that on average Conservative voters have less academic qualifications.

The higher the education level, the more likely Canadian young adults were to feel that the sponsorship controversy is the type of thing that goes on in most political parties. Conservative (33%) and Bloc (23%) voters are more likely to say that the sponsorship controversy was a unique incident. A large majority of Liberal (76%), NDP (75%) and undecided (78%) voters are more likely to say that type of thing goes on in most political parties.

from http://www.thedemocracyproject.ca/holding/dp-election-survey-week-2/

A large majority of Canadian young adults agreed that Canada was right not to join the US missile defence shield (86%). Resident of Quebec and the Atlantic provinces are more likely to agree that Canada was right not to join the US missile defence shield (92% and 91% respectively). Young adults with a college (89%) university (87%) or post graduate degree (92%) are more likely than those with high school education or less to agree that Canada was right.

Conservative voters are the most likely to disagree that Canada was right (31% disagree), while Bloc voters are the most likely to agree Canada was right not to join the missile shield (94% agree

from http://www.thedemocracyproject.ca/holding/dp-election-survey-week-3/

Citizens with higher income ($60K + and eductaion levels (university degree)) are more likely to have a better understanding of Paul Martin's policies...

http://www.queensu.ca/cora/polls/2003/Dec14-conservative_support.pdf

As education level rises the proportion that believes Paul Martin would make the best Prime Minister rises (29% less than high school, 34% high school, 38% some post secondary or college diploma, 47% university degree)

don't be silly, you're jumping to conclusions believe me there's a world of difference between intelligence/work ethic and having academic qualifications. This has nothing to do with who stays in school, the fact is school dropouts aren't likely to be conservatives or liberals because they don't generally vote
What? That didn't make any sense.

edit in bold, hope it makes sense now

wasn't that part of Harper's new crime bill

I'm sure it's true because I heard it on the CBC, when I was tending my roses out here on Hornby Island.
lol.
Have to go now to get more beer & popcorn.

because a conservative voter is less likely to hold a passport since Tory supporters are more rural, longer established in Canada and ,this is really going to upset you all, have less academic qualifications than liberal voters.

I'd like to put my international experiences, education and training up against Icecap and any other paternalistic lefty any day. Rather than sitting in a university, coffee house or in front of the boob tube, I've gone into some some of the shit holes that the left wing induhllectuals, tsk-task about and have tried to make a real difference.

another one :( I don't care if you personally been to the moon, show me some evidence with a sample size greater than you and Tricks' dad to support your argument (as I have done).
