We Albertans would be the last to ask for help.I'm sure we would use our just get it done attitude to make thing's happen.

Never happen,the east hates the west and vice verca.Give me one good reason why Alberta should stay in Canada. And dont say transfer payments,it's hard working Canadians that make the oil patch happen and their from all over Canada.
Ontario doesn't hate the west, we find the constant abuse and insults rather tiresome but we don't hate you

No country, in any sort of a crisis, will ever go without support from other countries. Yet they still have trouble, imagine without the support. Take Katrina for example.

I don't think most Albertas do. I can understand why old people would but not the youngins.
I'll admit, i know nothing of this topic and my opinion is purely based on nothing.
i just don't need my country fighting.

No. Ontario does not hate the west. All of Canada east of Winnipeg does not hate the west. You will find that the only hate seems to be coming from many western people who lump everyone in the east into a single entity linked forever to all perceived fed gov't polices that theyhate.
GFPB is the perfect example. He hates & denigrates everything east of Manitoba and blames them for all of Canada's problems. Show me exactly where anyone from the east has done that (unless you count MCB and hwanker who do that for all of Canada). The truth is that although it isn't a universally held position, many westerners show extreme prejudice in anti-east hate and assume that hate is reciprocated. It isn't and when hate is expressed by easterners it is directed only at those westerners who are the guilty ones.

You need to understand the hate before you can deal with it.

Well,I find that people that think the libs are ok even after all the corruption was exposed......well I think that the folks that support those people and think that that kind of criminal behaiouver is ok,I think that that's not my view of a real Canadian.

I've never voted Liberal in my life
and 56% of Ontarians didn't at the last election either, remember that ziggy. Maybe instead of separation you should consider supporting electoral reform and a more representative system but then you'd have 6 or so Liberals returned from Alberta and we couldn't have that
