Bryant's Fleeing car drags cyclist to his death

No, I know I would not know how I would respond. Fact is, this guy is dead. There is no excuse for that... It's sad, it's tragic, but we can't bring him back to life, and Bryant less guilty, and his life a lesser mess. He did do what he did. We cannot turn back time. I think everybody would want that though...
EyeBrock EyeBrock:
This whole road rage thing needs to be viewed in the same way as the now taboo matters such as domestic violence and impaired driving is.
People seem to think it's ok to try and maim people for cutting them off. Too much of this stuff on the go. A couple of months ago a crazy guy in a Saab tried to run me and my 3 year old off the road because I signalled a lane change late.
You signal lane changes ?
That could get you killed over here
That driving on the wrong side of the road, trying to wipe the guy off on a pole or mailbox is probably going to be a tough one for the lawyers to explain.
Easy.. driver panicked.. bike guy tried grabbing wheel / hair / whatever.
loss of control.
They guy to provide a counterpoint is dead.
The female witness wont say anything.
Brenda Brenda:
So you are saying that it is impossible to carry pen and paper with you when you are cycling, because someone in China forgot to sew a pocket to carry a pen in in your trunks?
Lame excuse

(I wonder how many cyclists carry their cellphone with them?

)
But if they carried a pen and notepad, where would male cyclists find room in their spandex for that third sock?

The mismatch between car and bicycle is sufficiently enormous that the cyclist is inherently always right.
I call bullshit, roads have the same rules for all.
It also does not give bicyclists any justification for acting
like druken assholes.

You have a point there...

Now that I've seen the video, and that the cyclist was actually assaulting the driver, that changes things. The driver was trying to protect himself and get away from someone who was in a rage.

Cyclists zip in and out between cars, ignore stop signs and red lights. Accidents waiting to happen.

Where did you see video? I can't imagine the police have released any video so soon.

Actually... Atleast in HOLLAND, they ARE right. Or at least get their way, because they are more "vulnarable", so the driver of the car should be more cauteous. What happens is that the cyclists become assholes because they will win anyway.

Looking better for Byrant all the time.
