What started out being an accident, ended up being manslaughter. Throw the book at him!

imo, maybe even more than man slaughter. I believe man slaughter would be an apropriate charge for criminal negligence. However, if the details of the case suggest that he diliberately acted in a way to harm the cyclist, then I think that is much more than negligence.

I guess that means the driver will only get probation. I am disappointed.

ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

He'll walk...

ASLplease @ Tue Sep 01, 2009 7:28 am

if they dont send him to jail, then he should lose his licence and be forced to ride a bicycle for the rest of his life.

Sounds like there may be more to the story...

Why would you want to hang on to a driving car? :?
Who was that guy, papparazzi?

Maybe he was hit and trying to stop him from fleeing the scene. Hit and runs on cyclists are far too common.

That would be the most stupid thing to do...

ALWAYS bring pen and paper with you to write down license plate numbers...

I dont think there are any cycling shorts that have a pocket to accommodate a pen and paper [huh]

Not everyone wears those funny looking spandex shorts.

Neither do womens eveningdresses. We solve that problem by carrying a purse. I am sure cyclists can come up with something. I dunno, maybe a backpack?

PublicAnimalNo9 @ Tue Sep 01, 2009 9:32 am

Awright, a fanny pack then lol

gonavy47 @ Tue Sep 01, 2009 9:34 am
