did you guys read the whole thing?

because I'm sure you like this part .

$1:
The new rules, which would require schools to notify parents in advance of "subject-matter that deals explicitly with religion, sexuality or sexual orientation," is buried in a bill that extends human rights to homosexuals. Parents can ask for their child to be excluded from the discussion.

....and your point is?

Good grief but I wish the price of crude would go up and give these people something else to talk about.

I don't understand why having more choices is a bad thing ?

It isn't a bad thing. But when the additional choices in the market are the poorest quality in the market, the customer doesn't benefit. Ever bought a made-in-China kid's toy? It'll be in the landfill in days. Chrysler is the made-in-whereever-the-fuck equivalent in the auto-market.

Here in Quebec they removed all religion and moral classes and forced a new course about "multicultural" religions and how feminism is so a good thing.

Students are FORCED to go to those classes learning what islam/judaism/etc is even if the parents want to raise them as catholics. THAT is a bad thing.

I'm not sure I get your point, Proc. Learning about cultures other than your own is a bad thing? Is that your position?

So people like myself, who are Catholic, should not learn about other religions? Are they afraid they will convert?

All they are doing is denying their children a potential career in health sciences.

No. I said that you don't force someone to learn things against what they believe. That's called freedom of religion and it's in the charter. Actually, there are 2 or 3 parents attempting to shut down this class because they say it's anticonstitutional.

I don't understand ? There have been health sciences before the theory of evolution.

Sure you force people to learns things, whether they believe it or not. If I don't believe that humans breathe oxygen, does that get me exempt from grade 9 science? The Charter protection is the freedom to practise whatever religion choose. It's not to be free from studying other ones.
