Cute too.
That she is.
She does get props for trying to pull it together and facing the press considering the circumstances, very brave of her.
I don't agree with the NDP, but she seems genuine and is putting an honest effort into it.
From the little I have seen of her in the media she comes across as poised plus her French is much better than the press originally stated. It is not on par with her constiuents, but is a long ways from 'does not speak French' that was originally in the news. The media attention everytime she shows up in the riding may just allow her to gain the respect of her riding and allow her to be re-elected in 4 years. I hope she can overcome her bad press to date and by the next election her riding feels she has served them well.
Why is the NDP apologizing to MS B. They "adjusted" her resume and got her elected t a spiffy job [Ms B should thank them], the ones they might want to consider apologizing to are the folks from her riding might be impressed with her fictional credentials.

Bingo! We have a winner folks.

I would take Ann Coulter to bed just to see the look on her face whan I asked "So what's the chances of one up the pooper, then?"
I can just imagine the look on your face when she replies "anything for you big boy" and then promptly pulls a strap on out

Yeah, that's it. They voted for her because they thought she had the two credits she's short to getting her two year diploma. The fact she never set foot in the riding and can't speak French all that well didn't bother them, but the lack of those two credits is really burning them up.
True,
The fact that she can't speak French very well and hasn't set foot in her riding is of more concern, but political groups lying bothers all of us or it should.
This whole thing has been a black-eye for the NDP and the voters of her riding.
She will always be remembered as the chick who was in Vegas on election night and the chick who had never ever even been to her riding.
Just like Lisa Raitt will always be remembered for saying cancer was sexy.
Making excuses for this young lady is just that. Making excuses.
To pretend this is suitable conduct for a candidate and now an elected MP is disingenuous.

It only bothers people when the Conservatives do it.

Yep, just like the nerd in highschool who now owns a .com ,drives a jag and is married to the former super model. Will never live down the fact he couldn't get a date for the prom.
Yea, but that nerd isn't voted into his dot com job. He worked to get there. Bad comparison.

Ask and ye shall
receive. Is it filthy? Oh, you better believe that it's filthy (and I actually 'know' the guy, a borderline maniac genius, from another site who wrote this).
The wrap up is off-the-hook awesome too:
$1:
Once she caught her breath, she wiped her mouth, stood, and took me by the hand.
‘Let’s go to the bathroom.’
‘Why?’
She seemed surprised I had to ask. Her tone was that of someone reminding another of something too obvious to need mention.
‘Uh, so I can get in the tub and you can piss all over me?’
......
I sat in a robe and watched her as she dressed.
‘Will I see you again?’ I asked tentatively.
‘Sure,’ she said, pointing to the TV. ‘On that.’
Some moments passed. I tried to dispel the awkward silence.
‘Well, nice meeting you,’ I offered.
‘You’ve really got a gift for tedious small talk,’ she shot back.
I was a little hurt and, recognizing this, she softened just a shade as she reached for her purse to leave.
‘Hey.’
‘Yes?’ I asked.
‘Thanks for not staring at my adam’s apple.’
‘No problem.'
She let herself out without another word, and I sat in the late afternoon silence alone. I considered how it felt to be a disposable instrument in someone’s personal debasement fantasy.
All in all, it didn’t feel too bad.

Not really. Any guffawing, unless it comes after 2015 is just that, guffawing. More a mark on the chortler than on the subject. Besides, what are the requirements for being a member of Parliament these days? Apart from getting more votes than anyone else running that is? If she makes a complete mess of it in the next four, than go at it. Otherwise
SHE IS AN ELECTED MP AND WE ARE NOT! If anyone should be laughing its:

and of course:

pretty lady....she should try smiling.
