Welcome to the next four years of the Official Opposition, NDP-style. Nothing but juvenile college-level brattishness and hyper-self-righteouness, performed equally by their MP's, their aides, and whatever other goofball supporters and 'activists' they have tucked away.

I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss the Liberals already. The NDP and their lackeys are going to prove themselves to be the absolute nadir as far as Opposition standards and decorum are concerned.

Funny how you call us juvenile but from experience while flagging for highways the first ones to start yelling at me, the most impatient, and the only ones to have nearly run me over more than once have been people further into life. Youth bring fresh ideas to antique systems, we are more willing to change things that need changing, and we aren't afraid to actually try to involve people.

Do you want the NDP to sit there utterly useless (not like they can actually stop Harper anymore) or do you want them to act like a political party trying to actually make people pay attention?

Stephen Harper tried to run you down while you were working on a highway crew? 8O That bastard!

Well she wanted a 'Canadian Spring'. This in and of itself shows how limited her education and knowledge is if she is comparing Canada to Arab dictatorships. Now she can enjoy the remainder of her Spring looking for a new job....Dumbass

Well, as a Conservative, I always considered the NDP as utterly useless, but even so, there are many, many better ways to get attention than through interrupting the Throne Speech. Sheesh, there are plenty of media outlets, or other forums that are more than happy to get the NDP's thoughts on the issues.

That her statement is a carbon copy of everything your darling Jack said on every campaing stop of the last election?

So because Jack says something it becomes exclusively his thoughts? I guess we should stay in Afghanistan forever.

Thanos @ Fri Jun 03, 2011 4:49 pm

Where and when did Stephen Harper say that we were staying in Afghanistan forever?

You said that because Jack said something, and she said it later it was the NDP saying it. I'm saying that because Jack said we should leave Afghanistan, Harper cannot say that without it being the NDP saying it. Seems fair, no?

Wikipedia Wikipedia:
Pages work an average of 15 hours a week in the House of Commons while studying full-time at one of the four universities (University of Ottawa and Carleton University, UQO, Saint Paul University) in the National Capital Region and are paid approximately $12,000 (CDN) for their one-year term.

12,000$/year for 15 hours a week for about what? 5 months of work ? + the experience. I hope her term was almost finished.

BTW, nothing on that event in Quebec news. Since our media are eager to bash Harper everyday, it tells how her stunt was worthless.

From the article I read, there is a limit on how long you can be a page. She had three or so weeks left before her job was over anyway.

Somebody decided to try and go out with a bang.

That is ironic, nothing mentionned on the Quebec media.

These journalists sure like to bash Harper. But yea for the new kids at the NDP it seems.

Oh and Curtman, only referring to the ''biased'' Quebec media. And they like to give ''props'' to the unexperienced NDP. But eh, you cannot make that stuff up.

Anytime a Conservative even prononces anything, the media is ready to pounce. But somehow a left wing moron holding a sign in Parliament, all of a sudden, that does not seem like a big deal.
