Welcome to the next four years of the Official Opposition, NDP-style. Nothing but juvenile college-level brattishness and hyper-self-righteouness, performed equally by their MP's, their aides, and whatever other goofball supporters and 'activists' they have tucked away.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I miss the Liberals already. The NDP and their lackeys are going to prove themselves to be the absolute nadir as far as Opposition standards and decorum are concerned.
Did the NDP put her up to this? I didn't see that part.
So when I move to the US and start screaming about stockpliing automatic weapons, getting rid of the 'gummint' by force (preferably), taking all the remaining regulations off of Wall Street, genuflect in front of my cardboard cut-out of Rush Limbaugh at least once a day, demand the the abolishing Medicare/Social Security/everything else except national defense subsidies, etc., etc., etc., no one will have any reason whatsoever to think that I don't support or aren't currently a member of the Republican party?
Seriously, you people should really grow up a little.

She disrupted a throne speech and exercised not only very poor judgement but a dizzying lack of respect for our democratic institution.
Furthermore, evoking the Arab Spring when talking about the Canadian government demonstrates she's also a fucking idiot.
Buhahah!
She's a page, not a career diplomat. She just made herself a cult hero and can now make a killing on the talk circuit. Amazed that silliness has never happened until now.

Since when have you been such a lefty?
Another gambit from Beck's bag of tricks. It is unbelieveable that a guy so anti-Beck has no issue stooping to his theatrics of mindless ravings for the deliverance of pedantic talking points.
Sorry, taking issue with bovine extremism isn't completely in the domain of the left, more in the domain of the sane and reasonable.

Good for her. An idiot who's a cult hero to other idiots. I'll find it in my heart to give too much of a shit if possible.

Fine. I apologize for the 'lefty' quip. I'll just put you down in the category of "old grouch" and adjust all my future encounters with you accordingly.

Oh c'mon man. I think you've spent too much time watching FOX and Beck so's you can rip on the US. Watch C-PAC for any length of time. Parliament has been nothing BUT college-level brattishness and hyper-self righteousness for quite some time now. And often times, it fails to reach even high school level.
The only time these days when there's any politeness, respect or decorum in Parliament is when the paid monkeys aren't sitting.
Some "kid" with a few weeks left in her position decides to go out with a "bang" and that bothers you, but the way the actual MPs from ALL parties act while sitting fazes you not at all??
I'm hard pressed to point to any party that could be considered the paragon of decorum in Parliament over the last 20 or so years.
Thanos @ Sat Jun 04, 2011 12:46 am
For the record, a CTV survey last week listed Jack Layton as the rudest and least polite MP in the last parliamentary session. He was seconded by Michael Ignatieff. Remember those sorts of things when the Dippers break out their old song 'n' dance about politeness and decorum because they certainly don't mean it. The NDP has been 100% full of shit for their entire history and they always will be.

Calling Layton the rudest and least polite in Parliament is like calling someone out for being the biggest asshole in a group of assholes. Does it really matter at that point?
I'm not defending Layton, nor am I claiming that ALL MPs are rude and obnoxious, I'm just saying that respect and decorum in Parliament is none too common.
And the day I believe any politician when they tell me they're going to bring some civility (or accountability) to gov't, will be the day I give up my power of attorney due to mental incompetence.

Hope that self-indulgent little brat finds her name circed around Ottawa,
and people should turn their backs on this disrespectful tramp.

Yeah... conveniantly agreed with.
Good on Johnson showing some class when the page didn't.
Proroguing parliament for 3 months. That's a disruption. One kid with a sign? Not so much.
Yea, the electorate were so peeved that they gave them a majority as punishment.
EyeBrock EyeBrock:
Yea, the electorate were so peeved that they gave them a majority as punishment.
And they got their majority without gaining any significant amount of votes at all. Hardly a ringing endorsement.

If the left is too busy smoking dope and making "stop Harper" signs to get
off their asses and vote; not our problem.
53% of us voted for the dope smoking left wing Lib/NDP. Enjoy your false sense of security, it wont last.

Promises, Promises.
As for DePape, the whole point of this exercise was to stroke her own ego. She probably could give less of a damn about the issues (considering her ignorance towards the Arab Spring) and wanted her fifteen minutes of fame. Congrats! Now she can crawl back to the hole she crawled out of.
