Here's a better idea.

Let's kill all the chicken little 'expert' liars.

The amounts of methane reduce from stopping all their bullshit, plus the reduction in hot air emissions will help us all.

:)

$1:
The atmosphere's carbon dioxide level is the highest it has been in 800,000 years, Stocker said — temperatures are climbing, sea levels are rising and heat waves are becoming more common and more dire in many countries.

CO2 is high, true. That's where the truth ends in this little diatribe.

Temperatures are not climbing and that's according to NASA.

Sea levels are not rising, either.

Heat waves are weather and as the a-holes from the AGW cult like to say, "Weather and climate are two different things" so you phuxers can go choke on your own words here.

I really hate these jerks.

Me too, but don't forget empty vessels do make a large amount of noise.

Thats all it is really, noise.

I believe we need a healthy planet and all that green stuff. Over the years I've found that there are certain people who share my concern and then there are certain people who don't. I am of the age where I've got more behind me than in front of me so personally I have nothing to personally fear with climate change. I have also given up trying to convince anyone personally.

As a matter of interest I have noticed certain traits of those who deny climate change and I'll post those traits here. Realize these are generalizations on my part but never the less:

-Conservative, almost always conservative.
-Willfully ignorant of anything that should change their opinion, and angry when someone tries.
-Dismiss irksome issues, or issues they are ignorant of with sarcasm instead of dialog.
-Christian or closet christian. More than likely some fundamentalist thing; baptist etc.
-Often racist
-Insisting on political correctness unless discussing those of opposing beliefs, race, religion etc.
-Misogynist
-Often poorly educated.
-Think environmentalists are communist or socialist even though they cannot explain why.
-Think environmentalists are ignorant even though they themselves lack any knowledge in the field.
-Like large vehicles, like SUVs even to buy groceries. Like to leave them running.
-Prefer TV to books. Prefer US television to canadian television.
-Enjoy social(ist) things like Healthcare and public roads but don't equate it with socialism.

I can see why people don't listen to you.

Gunnair @ Thu Jun 09, 2011 6:53 pm

As a matter of fact, I'm not against hiking the price of gas, but more so to stimulate conservation. The number of trucks I see as grocery getters, or the number of people that will drive five blocks to work instead of walking, absolutely astounds me. In light of the desire to cut down on the reliance of foreign oil, the first step is to cut down on gratuitous consumption. Add to that, it will reduce pollution and make the cities that much more livable is an added bonus.

You're being charitable, but I think idiots would be offended by you comparing him to them.

I agree that making cities more liveable would improve things greatly. Rather than having the workers flee the inner city, because of crime and a lack of amenities, it'd be nice to see people return to the city and live in them. A larger population would help reduce crime and stimulate business, and in the end drive down unemployment rates and poverty which fuels crime rates. All of this would go along way to minimizing the use of vehicles.

You're arguing for hitting Canadians across the country in the wallet because a few (obviously wealthy) douche bags are driving 50 meters up the road in their F-250's to get milk?

Guy_Fawkes @ Thu Jun 09, 2011 7:09 pm

If you hike gas, you will raise inflation.

Prefer US television to canadian television.

If preferring Saturday Night Live to Royal Canadian Air Farce, Jon Stewart to Rick Mercer, and Frontline to The National makes me a climate change denyer, then I hereby, on the record, deny climate change!

Red Green's awesome though
