Looks like they rewrote the whole game.
I was considering that game too, as I read the VR is finally up to standards.
Volocopters?
I've been playing Naval Action, fun game, hard as hell, but I'm enjoying the challenge
Played the open Beta over the long weekend. Gameplay is pretty close to the video. Tornados do show up and spoil things. Didn't see anyone in a wing suit though.
But most everyone was playing Call of Duty. 128 players per side, and 120 of them were snipers in ghillie suits. No one was reviving, or repairing, or healing. No one was using many of the vehicles. And people that were using vehicles weren't stopping and letting people in, instead going into battle empty.
The main difference between Battlefield games and other shooters is that co-operation is key. You have a limited number of spawns per session, and when the enemy captures all the objectives, captures the main objective, or you run out of spawns - you lose. Kill/Death is irrelevant, you get more points for repairing a tank than you do for 5 kills.
I bought the year pack with all the bonus stuff. ~$130
Battlefield 2042 beta impressions: Strong ideas buried in a buggy mess
Pre-ordering from EA, bold move.
Pre ordering anything is bold move. Cyberpunk really reinforced that point last year.
I've pre-ordered a few things, like every CoD up till and including Ghosts. But I did like WWII.
I loved BF: Bad Company 2, and nothing else has been on Steam since.
The Beta was good enough to convince me that I will play it, even if I have to suffer with that Origin crap.
I want that Sandworm helmet. Badly.
