Hello Games does it again. I paid $60 for this game almost 5 years ago. I play it almost every day, and they keep improving it - free of charge.

Oh, and the update that changes the entire Universe is a whopping 1.4GB.

Suck it, Call of Duty Doodie!

If I wasn't so caught up in Elite Dangerous, I'd check it out.

I've roped a few of my former clan into playing it.

It is staggeringly huge. I can't express the scope of the game in human terms.

You can explore an entire planet. In caves, under water. Then the solar system can have 0 to 7 more planets and moons. Then there are millions of such solar systems.

When you get done/bored with E:D, check it out.

For me, it's the best game, and the best VR game.

Maybe once the Beagle Point run has been completed.

I keep forgetting to try it out, it's in my library. Is there a good starters guide anywhere?

(I assume you mean NMS)

There are a sort of tutorial when you start. It gives you the basic knowledge of how to use your tools, and where to find things. There are a number of quests you can try that give you more knowledge, and story background. The rest is up to you.

It doesn't teach you things like; sentinels are not full of prizes, so do not whack with a stick.

This popped up on may radar. Haven't played in years so this should be cool.

The last of the BSG Deadlock DLC. Looks very good, great homage to the 2005 show.

Thought I'd give the fence sitters a little taste of No Mans' Sky, in VR.

Just in my Capital ship, a freighter. I scan a few of the AI ships there, to see if any are worth buying. I then leave, because one of my Dreadnoughts came back damaged and the crew are too scardeycat to go out on the gantry and fix it.

I skip to the end of the boring repairs part, and get back in my personal ship, and go back to the freighter.
