Liberals also targeted Guelph with robocalls

fixed
I'm just saying that perhaps the Conservatives should find their own moral compass, rather than judging the rightness or wrongness of their actions based on what the Liberals do.
It's the Canadian way - like identifying yourself as 'not American!'

Looks like the forum owner's words bear repeating for those who want to hide behind "the Liberals did it too."

I don't understand why this is news, robocalls are nothing new. I get robocalls from BC political parties for 2 years.
The difference is robocalls being used for voter suppression with misleading voting location information.

So how many votes were suppressed?

A - the no harm no foul argument is raised once more.

Who knows? That's really not the point.

The point is....
There has been allegations that some of these robo-calls were misleading people to the wrong polling stations.
There has been no proof provided by any party.
There has been no proof provided by elections Canada.
There has been no proof provided by citizens.
There has been no proof provided by the RCMP.
The only misleading robo-call we've heard is from the Liberal camp that doesn't mislead voters to polling stations at all.

Zip, both sides do this. Canadian politics is all about doing the same as the other side but whoever gets caught first gets heat from the other one until their lies get found out too. It all settles down for a bit until the next 'crisis' or 'scandal'.
Expecting any of them to exhibit a moral compass is unrealistic.
The common denominator is it's all underhand dishonest stuff that these guys have been doing for years. All sides.
Things changing are as likely as a Hooters restaurant opening up in Kabul.
Do I detect a hint of cynicism tempered with a large dose of distrust.

Maybe! I've have some experience of being lied to! Daily.....
We have the same employers?
I'm sure you would enjoy working here Shep!
One good thing out of this, I bet the annoying phone calls I got from all parties at both the general and provincial elections are curtailed somewhat.
I think we should have a public enqury into these fuckers who keep calling me to say they will fix my windows 7 problems for a small fee.
Naw...I worked in holding cells for a couple of years up north. That's as close as I ever want to get to the crowd you deal with on a daily basis. My dad was a guard for years and retired as an assistant superintendent from a provincial institution. Sort of coloured his opinion of most people. Mind you he was a labour negotiator for quite a few years and a VP in what was then the MGEU(Doer was president at the time), so he didn't have a positive view on those running the show either.

Exactly. I have been trying to convince people of this since the outset. Until some proof on anything in this matter is presented, I'm holding judgement for the time being.

That's why an investigation is warranted.
It's getting to the point where I think the only way to fix this country is with a match and a lot of gasoline.
The country is fine, despite what the media say.
No, I think the Conservatives look to the Liberals for moral leadership. "Do the Liberals do it? Oh, must be OK then!" Conservatives need to learn about leadershp and personal responsibility.
