I've always thought you should be banned, since you mostly contribute chicken hawk comments.

(This in no way is meant to construe criticism of moderation or who actually should or should not be banned.)

   

FWIW - all my dealings with this particular member were in strict accordance with the rules laid down for the operation of this site, including the 30 day banning for anyone who accumulates 3 warnings within a specified period of time. Believe me, with what I've had to put up with in dealing with this person, if it was solely up to me, and only me, with no guidelines to follow, he would have been gone a very long time ago. As for the length of time of his banishment, it would probably take an old fashioned blue British police box which is larger on the inside than the outside for anyone to be able to locate him in the space-time-continuum....

   

Ten bucks says the dope manages to get himself perma-banned within an hour of the temp ban ending. He is that genuinely stupid enough to do it.

   

You must have your hands full being the only mod. If Regina can't be resurrected, maybe somebody else her is interested? Although we have so few active members, maybe it only needs one mod.

I don't read most of the stuff when the shit goes flying between the Count and whomever, but what I have read seemed to be to be about equal on both sides, that he wasn't the instigator all the time. He makes a loony post and people start flinging shit at him. But as I say, I'm not really paying much attention.

I posted this because you replied to me, otherwise I would have let this go already, since you've gotta do what you've gotta do. And even if I don't always agree with your efforts, thanks for doing it and keeping the site going.

   

Good riddance to bad rubbish. If he is even remotely honest we won't see after the election anyways.

Don't ban him for being an asshole or one that stalks people in their private lives off the forum but dare to question a moderator. Gasp!

However, take aim at a moderator? Fuck no! Who gives a shit about a guy that's a known psycho until he takes aim at the mod. The rest of us sit and suffer while this asshole runs around.

That could very well be true, unfortunately it's people like you who basically add nothing positive to the site and who thrive on contention with other members here who are causing more and more people to lose interest in sites like this.

   

The site had a discussion about getting rid of Count, there was not enough support
to permaban him.

You posted allegations of what Count may or may not have done on other sites,
but you never offered proof, and proof that it was Count that did it.




In the 8 years I have been here, whining about the moderation in public has always
been disapproved of.
If you don't like something a mod has done, solve it with PMs.

   

Clearly this is eating at the very core of your being. You must be destined for a greater purpose than ranting and raving in an online forum that CLEARLY does not equal you in intellect or debate. Go I say, go out into the world and find your higher purpose! Become the solitary ray of light amongst the darkness! Save us all from ourselves! There are a few members here who are on that other site that vividly remember the actions of Count. I personally didn't think it was worth it to keep someone who might have these tendencies to haunt people and their wives in their personal lives.




This isn'a about this forum being "less than" just that I fundamentally disagree that moderators, managers, leaders or anyone in a spot of leadership are beyond criticism.

Especially when the moderator himself comes out with an attack of his own.

Being one of the handful of people left here, we often have very good debates with respect to a whole host of issues. To suggest that people like me are the cause of people leaving is just ludicrous.

If I am indeed part of the reason, delete my account.
