Can you explain please because as I recall he chose not to go to Iraq but supported the Afghan mission.

Which if the military operations were focused on Afghanistan rather than looking for WMD's in Iraq we just might have solved the Afghan situation.
Which is back to square one basically.

We lost so much TREASURE in Afghanistan , for what?

Harper extended the Afghan mission for what?

What it started out being after 9/11 turned into a place for CIA to earn opium money....is all!!!!

Don't forget when we first went to afghanistan we were only allowed in Kabul and a few kilometres outside of it.

Why?

Opium....we would end up smack in the face of opium fields.

Eventually people somehow accepted the opium trade in afghanistan and ,well we were able to lose more TREASURE, for opium.

I dunno. I recall the Feds allowing all those planes the couldn't land in the US to land in Canada, and seems we sent a soldier or two to Astan to help our ally when it was attacked.

Unfortunately we kept them there when it turned from defeating Al Qaeda to nation building, at great futile loss of life and limbs, while Shrubster took his eye off the ball, decided to play silly buggers in Iran instead. All in all Chretien did Canada proud: there for an ally when needed, but setting an independent course, not just asking how high, when that ally went off the rails.

Some people just don't learn, two warnings previously issued yet he blindly continues on, disregarding the warnings and complains openly once again about the moderation of this site......

My only criticism is that it should be a 30000 day ban instead of just 30.

   

That's a return date of one week before the election.




I'm thinking more of CKA. He doesn't bother me.

   

Odds are he's stupid enough to come in under a new name and get perma-banned.

This is in no way meant to be construed as a criticism of the moderator, but if he must be banned, it might really be better to ban him for say 45 days. I think CKA will already be more intense by Oct. 12, and having the Count back fresh from his holiday might be more than it can stand.

Just an opinion, not criticism in any way shape or form.

   

That is a good suggestion.
