That road trip certainly had its ups and downs and I'm glad they salvaged a few points out of it. There are 2 5-game home stretches this month which will hopefully be helpful in getting us back up a bit in the standings.

   

I hear Alex Burrows is going to be inducted into the Canucks ring of honour tonight.

Good idea.

The Dragonslayer was always one of my favorite Canucks.

   

Good to have seen Burrows being honoured. He certainly made a big contribution to the team.

His young son was so cute waving to the crowd during the ceremony.

Just an FYI for all Canucks fan.....Vancouver will host the Buffalo Sabres at Rogers Arena today at 1:00pm PT !

A game-winning OT goal that also destroys the opposing goalie's water bottle is a double bonus.

   

   

Tonight's win was also the Canucks' first OT win of the season.

Toronto comes to play on Tuesday.

   

Wow. What a game! 1-0 OT win for the Canucks tonight. Outshot 43-26 for a well deserved shut out for Markstrom.
