Is it consider that the Leafs are improving when they only fire three head coaches in a decade as opposed to their usual one every two years?

Strutz Strutz:
He'll land a head coaching job with the next team that fires their head coach when their team hits a down slide.

...and will probably take that team to the Stanley Cup in 3 years.

Isn't that the way it can roll in the NHL?

Maple Leafs fire head coach Mike Babcock amid 6-game losing streak

It won't help :).

The chump who needed to be suspended was Gudbranson.

The refs have continued to lose the plot this year, it's to Euro levels of idiocy.

Just a quick FYI for all the Canucks fans still hanging around the site here. Saturday has the Canucks playing game 3 of their current 6 game road trip in Washington. The most important thing to know about that game is that the starting time of the game will be at 9:30am PT. That's right 9:30 in the morning so, remember...... ya snooze.....ya lose!!!

Oh, I know! I have the schedule jotted down a month ahead and clipped to our wall calendar. I am already prepared with a little something to toss into my coffee  as that's way too early in the day for beer, at least for me it is.
It's been a long and crazy week and I'm off tomorrow and hopefully won't sleep too late. I actually have debated setting my alarm for 915 just in case...

In the civilized countries, it's called Caffè Corretto.

The GTA deserves another team.

It took to the 7th round of the shootout before Horvat finally potted the winning goal, giving the the Cancucks a 2-1 victory over the Wahington Capitals. This win brings their record of this six road trip to 2-1-0. Game four will be on Monday in Philadelphia.

That was a really good game to watch. Lots of chances both ways.

Glad for the 2 points [B-o]

N_Fiddledog @ Sat Nov 23, 2019 1:40 pm

Just caught the last period. Crazy!!!

Strutz @ Thu Nov 28, 2019 12:32 am

That was a roller-coaster game the Canucks had against Pittsburgh tonight. Too bad for the outcome though. :(

Strutz @ Sat Nov 30, 2019 11:33 pm

Wow. Quite the game between the Canucks and Oilers tonight!

They play each other again tomorrow.

N_Fiddledog @ Sun Dec 01, 2019 11:52 am

And the Canucks made the 500 mark on that tough 6 game road trip. That was my mark as to whether I was going continue the hope they'd make the playoffs.

And there's some better games coming up that look more hospitable. Toronto on the 10th. There's a couple easy points. :P
