Go to 301 if you have Shaw cable, the game's on there.
Apparently that's the only place it's on.
I can find every other game on line, EXCEPT that one! Figures!
You can still watch it online at Canucks.com....
http://canucks.nhl.com/
Oy feck...
I tried that when the game first started and it wouldn't let me connect....
Thanks, H.
*Edit: And still won't.... BC viewers only, it looks like.
F-word!
Sorry 'bout that, I just rechecked the site.....
Damn, going into the 3rd down 2-0, the comeback kids managed to tie the game only to give up another goal later in the period to end up losing 3-2. It was a lot more interesting game to watch than yesterday's, with a few more of the regulars playing. Luongo started off the game in goal, once again giving up a goal on the first shot he faced...
Next game has Anaheim in town on Saturday, to be shown on CBC at 7:00 pm PT.
Ducks @ Canucks
The Canucks are 0-3 to start the preseason - something unfamiliar to a team that hasn't lost three preseason games since the 2006-07 season.
Vancouver is icing a roster with a balanced mix of veterans and prospects for Saturday's tilt.
Daniel and Henrik Sedin are expected to skate on a line with summer-signing Jeff Tambellini. Tambellini assisted on the first goal of the game and had 17:37 of ice time. He won four of five draws and topped it off with two shots on the night.
Former Canucks, Peter Schaefer and Brendan Morrison will skate on a line with 2009 first round draft pick, Jordan Schroeder. Schaefer and Morrison played together in 2000-2001 and both are on professional tryout contracts coming into camp.
The defence group looks much greener than the forward lines for Saturday. Christian Ehrhoff and Dan Hamhuis headlined the game group that practiced on Friday. Spotted in that group was Kevin Connauton paired with Evan Oberg, Taylor Ellington with Chris Tanev, and rounded out by Andrew Alberts and Alex Edler.
7:00pm PT on CBC.
Good game so far(second intermission). We need Morrison!
I'll comment on it later, watching the BC - Calgary game right now, got the Canucks on tape.
I haven't watched the game yet, but we finally won one, 4-1 over the Ducks....
Next game is tomorrow (Sunday) in Edmonton at 5:00pm PT on Rogers Sportsnet Pacific.
Canucks @ Oilers
The Canucks broke out of their preseason slump Saturday night against the Anaheim Ducks in Vancouver. They get a chance to improve their 1-3-0 record with their second game in as many nights in Edmonton against the Oilers Sunday.
Daniel and Henrik Sedin seemed to hit their stride as they each earned two points in Saturday's win and found some chemistry with their new linemate, Jeff Tambellini. Tambellini got his first chance as the Twins newest winger and although didn't get on the scoresheet didn't shy from his chance on the first line.
While the Canucks have found some success in their lineup, they are travelling with an entirely different roster. None of the players that dressed against the Ducks will play against the Oilers Sunday.
Cory Schneider is expected to get the start and the full 60 minutes in Edmonton, having to follow a 28-save performance by Roberto Luongo. Schneider let in two goals on 27 shots in his two preseason appearances.
The Canucks forwards will led by Mason Raymond, Ryan Kesler, and Mikael Samuelsson on the top line Sunday.
5:00pm PT on Canucks.com and Sportsnet Pacific.
Gonna break out the rum and coke for this one.
It'll be good to see these boys face to face again.
I'd say you're gonna need it to drown your sorrows when the Oilers get stomped on, but since it's only the preseason and don't mean nothing I'll save the trash talk for the regular season.
Good thing being that we beat ya's last time.
