This game is the perfect showcase as to why the Sedins are the Top Line.
I'm not a fan of Torres being a 'Nuck.
Likin' what I'm seeing from Hall and Eberle though.
The preseason means nothing, the preseason means nothing, the preseason means nothing..
Canucks vs Sharks
After suffering an 8-2 loss to the Edmonton Oilers Sunday night, the Canucks sent 10 players to the Manitoba Moose Monday morning as training camp opened in Winnipeg.
Edmonton set the pace Sunday night with a 4-1 lead after 20 minutes and allowed 15 shots in the first period. Manny Malhotra and Ryan Kesler scored for the Canucks but couldn't stop the young offensive forwards for Edmonton.
Cory Schneider let in eight goals on 33 shots but will get a chance for redemption and peace of mind Tuesday as he gets the start against the San Jose Sharks. In Schneider's only appearance against the Sharks, he let in five goals on 10 shots before being relieved by Curtis Sanford in the 2008-09 season.
The Canucks won both exhibition games against the Sharks last season but lost the regular season series 1-3-0.
Tuesday is the Sharks fifth preseason outing of the year and they hold a record of 1-3-0 so far.

I don't know what's going on between Rogers, Shaw and the Canucks with their telecasts, but if anyone is interested Shaw is showing the game on channel 301 or 320 in the Lower mainland.
I might just do that considering the shitty telecast I'm getting for the Storm game in Drayton Valley...brutal
Definitely a lot better showing by the boys tonight, hanging in there to beat the Sharks 3-1.
They'll be playing the Sharks again tomorrow night in San Jose, game time 7:30pm PT.
Canucks @ Sharks
The Canucks bounced back with am impressive 3-1 win over the San Jose Sharks Tuesday night. The teams get reacquainted again in the back half of back-to-back games as the setting moves to the HP Pavilion tonight.
The Canucks went perfect on the penalty kill last night, stopping the Sharks on all four of their powerplay opportunities. And while, that's a great sign for Vancouver, it's not saying much against a team that is 0-for-27 with the man advantage, sitting 30th in the NHL on the powerplay through the preseason.
Vancouver is 13th and 12th on the powerplay and penalty kill, respectively, with three of the five powerplay goals coming from the Canucks top line (Sedin, Sedin, Samuelsson).

I think for us Oilers fans we might be best off to enjoy the pre-season as much as possible tho. I can't see us having this kind of winning % over the regular season. Or beating up on too many teams the way we just beat up on the knuckleheads
Another "Lack"luster... ... performance by the boys tonight, losing 6-2 and giving up 4 PP goals, but with most of the big guns having the night off it's not a big surprise. Vigneault is having a good look at the boys before making his final cuts, surely do hope he finds a place in the lineup for Morrison.
Next, and last preseason game is Friday night in Anaheim.
Canucks @ Ducks
The Canucks couldn't be more eager to get of a preseason that saw them give up 25 goals in seven games - more than any team in the NHL. But before they can breathe a complete sigh of relief, they've got one more battle ahead against the Ducks in Anaheim Friday night.
The Ducks are one of the two teams the Canucks have beaten so far but they haven't been able to sweep the preseason series of any one team but hope they can change their luck tonight and go into the preseason on a positive note.
Anaheim isn't far from the Canucks with a 2-3-0 record going into tonight and have let in 22 goals in two fewer games. The Ducks have one more game following tonight's game.
In the teams last meeting, the Canucks put together their most complete game of the preseason following an 8-2 loss to the Oilers. Vancouver is again, on the end of a forgettable 6-2 defeat, this time to the San Jose Sharks.

A SH goal by Raymond in the 1st, a PP goal by Edler in the 2nd, another PP goal by the Sedins in the 3rd, along with an empty netter by Kesler was all the Canucks needed to beat the Ducks 4-2 to end the preseason with a 3-5 record. A week off, practice, practice, practice and hopefully the boys will be well rested and ready to go next Saturday when they open the regular season at home against the LA Kings.
That Raymond goal was a beaut. I predict at least 1 more Hat Trick by Raymond this season. I'd like to see him on a Line with Morrison, but from what I heard Morri might be going to the Flames.
