And before this gets any further, let me indicate one thing. Immigration itself is not the problem.
But it is '''some'' immigrants that do not want to integrate themselves to Canadian society, that is the problem. Trudeau's ''multiculturism'' was never destined to succeed from the start. Intergration is the key here, which many immigrants do not seem to realize. Look no further than Montreal North, This ain't fucking Haiti. They want to ''outrule'' common society, they should realise that it's not the way it is out here. But then again, the media sympatise, but we should simply not allow that kind of behavior. Look around, Canada is reknowned around the world for its civility, and that's they way it shall remain.

What is being canadian first? Canada itself is a clusterfuck of ideologies, religions, and cultures. Not one part of Canada is the same. We all hate each other.
There is the defining problem with multiculturalism.
Our only true common unity is with the United States, shopping and American TV.
We need to be more unified East to West, be Canadian first. Canadian Culture is British/American.
Maybe that is why I always admired the United States over Canada, just for that. They are truly proud to be American and grateful.
Canadians, particularly the younger generation think they are owed something by this country. When in fact it should be as JFK said; "ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country."
Your attitude is what divides this country.

I worry about people who fret about multiculturalism. I grew up in East-Van Burnaby.
WTF kind of mystery land did they grow up in? We already were, we just recognized it.
Nothing pleases me more than the Sikh kid who says "Sorry Dad, the topknot don't fit under the hockey helmet. But I'm still a Sikh."
It's more like a stir-fry that offers some unique flavors than a melting pot that ends up with some bland, lowest common denominator culture.

Everyone complains about multiculturalism as if it is a bad thing...well then let me ask..How else are we supposed to populate our country? No on is fucking to make babies anymore!!!

O.K. Mr. Canada, Canada's culture has historically been influenced by European culture and traditions, primarily Britsh.
From 1950 to 1970's it took a swing towards American culture.
Then Multiculturalism, The Metric System, and French separatist. Anything to distance our culture from the United States between 1970's to 1990's.
Today's Canada : Riots in Montreal North, Islamic cultural surge that is trying to change Canadian laws (Sharia Law), area's of Vancouver that English is not even spoken, immigrants who have been in Canada for decades and never learn English. (or French)

Canada isn't supporting just one culture, and it isn't ever going to again. We aren't going to become some "Muslim Hell" or get taken over by "Darkies". Canada is going to be everything. We are slowly moving that way. If you don't like it, perhaps you should move to a racist country like Japan. Enjoy being the outsider. Why should Canadians be treated the same in their own country?
