I was reading an interesting article about NAFTA posted by the Canadian Action Party, who I am starting to hope gets a better foot hold in Canada.

Canadian oil, if Canadians wanted to keep more for ourselves, and stop the gas shortages, we can't. Under NAFTA, we have an obligation to provide our resources to the United States first before our own citizens, failing to do so would cost Canada billions in fines.

Should Canada kill NAFTA??

if a Democratic administration starts behaving in a much more

protectionist way, absolutely.

I think if the Republicans win, wont be much to worry about.

Who's short of gas?

Canadians want to be green...drive less. We're being threatened with carbon taxes but we still want cheap gas. Makes no sense whatsoever...oh. .but this is just another let's screw Alberta thread

Plants closing down, and refining of our resources are being done in a foreign country, then shipped back.

Once our resources leave, we become #2 to get it back.

I have added a new signature mtbr, it speaks volumes as to your comprehension of the world and events around you.

You're a such a lying piece of bull crap.

The price here in Calgary has gone up about 8 to 11 cents a liter.

A $34 dollar fill up is more like $40 now and that is in the last 2 weeks.
