The NAACP behaves like the KKK but it is respected and the KKK outlawed.
Bottom line here is sasqauck supports the KKK and what they believe in and has no use for the NAACP because their purpose is to help black people, who sas also has no use for

You need to brush up on you're critical reading skilsl because he didn't say that at all. He drew a comparison between the two, and no where did he state a preference or opinion on the merrit of either.
I think the differences between our 2 peoples was the fact that policemen where there and did nothing. Were they afraid of the crowd or did they agree with the judgement? The fact that these police were so close by shows that this wasn't some back-yard lynch mob.

We've still got Empire days here in beautiful downtown Nanaimo, with the parade and all. Unfortunately there has been alot of flack in the past couple of years by minority groups complaining about still calling it Empire Days. Personally I don't think the name has anything to do with it nor their dislike of the British Empire. I firmly believe it stems from the fact that some of these minorities whine like gutshot dogs when their agenda isn't placed at the fore front of everything in Canada.
Well to friggin bad for the minorities. If you go across the straight to Vancouver and Surrey they celebrate all the East Indian and Chinese Holy days with special Parades and such, well good for them, but god forbid a white Canadian wants to celebrate his heritage, then it becomes a whole racist issue. These people seem to forget, that in Canada you don't have to attend the celebration if you don't agree with it.
I'm all for cultural diversity, but when it comes to trying to denegrate one culture while promoting your own, it makes a person wonder why the hell some of them ever emigrated to Canada in the first place.
When I was in school before Victoria Day since our class was made up of many different people we had our own Empire Days and everyone brought a different dish from their ancestors land and some dressed in their traditional clothes too. We thought it was fun and we all enjoyed ourselves. The people coming here now I think something is wrong with them or as you said just want everyone to cater to them.

Well yea, between the lines that is exactly what saquack( and you rideatrian) are saying
There is no comparison between the two groups.
Maybe you rideatrain would like to ( seeing as how you seem to always come to this racists defence) would like to provide an example how they are the same

This is obviously a gross display of ignorance. You obviously are ignorant of the workings methodology of the NAACP.
Both the KKK and NAACP are unscrupulous racist organizations......

As usual , after making absurd claims, sasqauck refuses to come up with examples comparing the 2 groups
Just more silly words from a grumpy old lady
Come on sasquack, just one example of the NAACP dragging a white girl out of her home and beating her in front of her white parents.
How about a pic of the NAACP dressed in BLACK robes setting fire to a white persons home

The "Rodney King" riots........

The "Rodney King" riots........

Oh brother.
So what you are saying is that because a white cop can get away with crimes on a black person, and black people are upset about this disgusting racist episode , that makes them just like the KKK?
Come on sas, you made yet another wild claim.
How about a pic of black people dressed in black hoods burning crosses on a white persons lawn

Here's how it is done. First, they incite riots and then use their political influence,(and the threat of more riots) to obtain convictions without the prosecution having sufficient evidence to prove their case.

John 8:3: And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
"4": They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.
"5": Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?
"6": This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.
"7": So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
"8": And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.
"9": And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.
"10": When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
"11": She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

That's the gist of it right there. Not even the most die-hard atheist can call that bullshit.

Well it seems those Muslims in the crowd preaching "Allah is Great" didn't read your religious novel before throwing stones, rocks and bolders at an innocent 17 year old girl.
If you want to use bible quotes to defend a "religion" or "culture" then maybe your should follow what your book preaches, "an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth."
The people responsible for the murder of the young girl need to be brought to justice and executed.
As far as religion, from the Catholic crusades, to todays plight with Isalm. It's all a little clutish if you ask me.

The quote about casting the first stone replaces the OT idea of an eye for an eye.
I'm not defending the stoning, and since I know you know that, I don't understand what point you're trying to make.
It seems that you are defending the religion, not the stoning. NO?
lily lily:
Do you honestly think all Muslims defend the stoning?
That would be the same as saying all Catholics feel abortion is immoral. Obviously not.
However, I feel that to many people take what is preached to them a little to literally; the very reason we have terrorism, stonings and people blowing up abortion clinics.
I don't defend religion when I think religion of any kind is nothing more than a clut.
