Below are a small list of religions and estimated members. Which one has the "REAL" God?

Christianity: 2.1 billion

Islam: 1.3 billion

Secular/Nonreligious/Agnostic/Atheist: 1.1 billion

Hinduism: 900 million

Chinese traditional religion: 394 million

Buddhism: 376 million

primal-indigenous: 300 million

African Traditional & Diasporic: 100 million

Sikhism: 23 million

Juche: 19 million

Spiritism: 15 million

Judaism: 14 million

Baha'i: 7 million

Jainism: 4.2 million

Shinto: 4 million

Cao Dai: 4 million

Zoroastrianism: 2.6 million

Tenrikyo: 2 million

Neo-Paganism: 1 million

Unitarian-Universalism: 800 thousand

Rastafarianism: 600 thousand

Scientology: 500 thousand

God is "real" only to those who believe and belief transcends dogma. That said, which of these religions are secure enough in themselves to not require the deaths of non-believers who ridicule them? Which ones do not persecute those who question them?

If you truly seek truth you must first seek the truth that is self-evident and unprotected for it is only the lie that must be maintained by force and intimidation.

Here's how it is done. First, they incite riots and then use their political influence,(and the threat of more riots) to obtain convictions without the prosecution having sufficient evidence to prove their case.

Yea sure there sasquack. Whatever you say

Your colour ( and your colour dislike) is coming through quite clearly yet again

Now, about those pics showing these people in black robes burning down white peoples homes and raping and killing the children?

:D

Do you honestly think all Muslims defend the stoning?

Why should they? Muslims were not doing the stoning in this case.

Right, I forgot about that.

Feel free to substitute the correct religion/ethnic group as the case may be. ;)

No problem.

The issue is more cultural than religious it would seem. We should be quite clear that islam is an expression of Arabic culture and is not separate from that culture. Likewise, the nutbags who carried out this crime were of the Arabic culture while not being muslim.

I guess the question is how do we drag these people into the 21st century?

Failing that, how do we make sure they don't keep trying to drag us into the 7th century?

So you're saying if you believe, you will have salvation.

My neighbors daughter believes in the tooth fairy, does that make it real?

You're right on the mark. It's people cultural and upbringing that is the true vice of the middle east.

Terrorism, is also directed at the American culture, and our freedoms. As one example, I kind of like going to the beach in the summer and seeing beautiful women in bikinis. The burka thing doesn’t do much for me.

eye candy.

This is the American way of life! American Culture.

He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her

That's the gist of it right there. Not even the most die-hard atheist can call that bullshit. ;)

Depends on your definition of sin and how heavy the first stone is.

Anyway...how does your social insurance number relate to stones

these fuckers and thier honor killings. Everyday I hear how the west is trying to win over these devil worshippers and make them like us better...................are you fucking kidding me? I don't want creatures who think like this to like me, better to irradicate them and give the land over to the goats

Ooh Boo hoo, she was stoned to death....this is so unjust....what a terrible crime sob sob....aren't we lucky to live in Canada where that does not happen? sniff sniff....

Hoo boy. This is one incident in probably a 100 or maybe even a 1000 terrible crimes that happen there everyday. From our own little slice of international islamofascism we have Afghanistan where the people were even more suppressed then the Kurds yet many of the same people expressing outrage here have dismissed our role as being purely there as political puppets of the US and have pooh poohed the injustice or the oppression experienced by the people as being a far less evil then that inflicted by the evil modern crusaders.

BTW, for the record I would have shot them and the Toronto Star would have led the charge to have me punished and the story would have gathered much more attention. What a funny little world we live in.
