Trudeau's returned Canada to it's neutral position anyway, more or less, after Harper pushed us more towards a pro-Israel position during his time as PM. Which is good, as it's in our best interest to neither endorse or condemn either side. Harper clearly made a mistake with that policy.
Harper made a lot of noise about supporting Israel but his actions were more careful than is often realized and he even got criticism from the NP for not carrying through more on his rhetoric. What Canada says on the Gaza war doesn’t matter anyway. More fundamental is that we stay steadfast on supporting an ultimate two state solution despite Israeli pressure to renege on that.

It's a very complicated issue. As with all complicated issues, I ask myself where the evangelical Christians stand, and then take the opposite stand. That way I am guaranteed to be on the side of Good.

They have the ability to pin point strike a living room and not hit the kitchen and yet they need to flatten the tallest buildings entirely and destroy entire blocks targeting tunnels while destroying the water infrastructure. All while COVID is running rampant. This IS a GENOCIDE.
