Man you sure shovel it deep some days.

Not as deep as you drop your net when you're trolling.

BeaverFever BeaverFever:
USSR is Russia’s predecessor not the EU’s. And Russia is today the hostile oppressive dictatorship not the EU, The EU member nations, with the exception of the Eastern European countries, are far more open and democratic than Russia ever will be and arguably more than USA has become.

The USSR dominated and oppressed half of Europe. That makes them the predecessor of the EU which is trying to oppress that half of Europe and everything else.

BeaverFever BeaverFever:
Literally everything you say is the opposite.

So today is the day the UK leaves the EU.................................

Oh, wait.

So today is the day politicians in the UK have decided the voting plebs
must be finally dealt with.

As in whatever they voted for, they aren't getting.

Democracy ? Fuck Democracy, those stupid little people don't deserve the wisdom of their betters.
Next step will be to just cancel the vote, first for the referendum, and then
all other votes. The MPs will see to this.

Anyway, looks like May will try for a third time to get her deal with the EU through Parliament.
Her promise to resign has turned a few Conservatives who will vote Yes now,
but the DUP seems to be not moving.. yet.
The pressure on them will be pretty heavy today.

As noted elsewhere, May is now a 3 time loser.

If the EU had real balls...

Publicly refuse all BS out of Westminister, and there will be a lot
next 2 weeks

Wait for April 12

Call a big meeting just before

Announcement: Fuck the UK, no more extensions, yer out !

Borders, borders everywhere.

Wait for the inevitable panic of stupid Little England Remoaners who think
they will sink into the sea without the EU.. and they will have an absolute
shit fit.

All the calamity will produce an economic slowdown, just look at Quebec over the years.

Wait 2-3 years.

One party, probably Labour, will campaign on rejoining the EU, and will win.

Rejoin.

Schengen
Rebate
Euro
EU Army etc.

all British special exemptions, now all gone as requirements for the Brits to rejoin.

The victory would be total and complete, the humiliation of watching the UK
crawl back in, like Homer Simpson and the supplicant door..

As I said, if the EU had real balls. Fact is, they are so desperate for money,
they will probably give a 2 year extension without question.

Just remember folks, politicians everywhere will be looking at the UK.
When they don't see it burning, they will know.
Your vote.... is worth nothing.

Umm not even close to making any kind of sense. The USSR the precursor of Russia. Full stop.

Even a broken watch is right twice a day, I support your conclusion!

The last rational man in Britain is back and as always he knocks it out of the park:

Brexit will be bled to death and ultimately overturned by the UK political class.

Meaning that future votes on people and topics will be irrelevant especially after the traitors in Parliament hand over Britain's military to the goddamned EU.

Your denial of the USSR's domination of half of Europe from 1945 to 1991 is a profound statement of your purposeful and deliberate ignorance of history.

I'd say you were trying to troll me but I suspect that you really believe the USSR only ruled over Russia during the Cold War.

Which, again, is a statement of utter and profound ignorance on your part.

USSR ruled Russia, Latvia, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, East Germany, Every "Stan" not named Afghanistan (although they tried), Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Albania, Moldova, Georgia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Cuba, Armenia, and Azerbaijan.

I see BoJo’s prorogation has been ruled unlawful.

https://www.theguardian.com/law/2019/se ... s-prorogue

Perhaps we should pay more attention to future prorogations in Canada as well, instead of letting the GG rubber stamp them?

The referendum vote cannot be interpreted as a vote for a hard Brexit. Nearly all the 48% who voted Remain would not want a hard Brexit and some of the 52% as well. The no-dealers are a minority.

Muddling through is no longer good enough. Britain needs a written constitution:

$1:
The UK constitutional order is a mess, an impossible trinity - consultative referendums with parliamentary sovereignty and an uncodified constitution.

If David Cameron's unintended legacy includes a written constitution, it will bring an avalanche of skeletons out of various cupboards, including the status of devolved parliaments and rights of secession, devolution for English regions, the House of Lords, the established status of the Church of England - even the monarchy.

Quite a bottle you spun there, David.
