Interesting indeed. There’s no good outcomes from this for the UK.
Why isn't their continued sovereignty, political independence, and financial independence a good outcome?
And if you think so highly of the EU then why isn't Canada submitting itself to being ruled by the new European empire?
Canada is in North America. We have enough trouble negotiating a trade deal with the US. Now the Brits are going to find out how much fun that it is.
I expect the US to cut a hell of a deal with the UK just to poke the fucking EU scum in the eye.

EU scum? Why does this association of countries evoke such irrational and intemperate hostility?
The EU bureaucracy is what I'm referring to.
I'm hoping that the EU dissolves and frees its member countries.

Yes nothing better than a bunch of Balkanized states, the easier to economically crush.
A weakened EU is exactly what Putin wants more than anything. The Russians have successfully planted their anti-EU agenda in American far-right.

Enough money and power dedicated to keeping the UK in the EU, at any cost.

No, it's because the UK has nothing to bargain with. They were always at the disadvantage and have been fucked because of it.

The UK has the pound and the Euroweenies need it to prop up the faltering Euro. They also covet the UK's defense forces and nuclear weapons.
If the UK truly had nothing to offer the EU then why is the EU making it such a bitch for the UK to leave?
Do you think they'd make a big deal of it were Greece to try to leave?

Greece is a drain on group resources so they don't have to care as much.

* TV Mobilna (Poland) reported yesterday that Brussels is trying to suppress any reporting that favors Euroscepticism. TV Mobilna more or less told them to fuck off by publishing the EU letter/demand.

Nothing comparatively. The EU knows making a deal would be better than a hard exit for the UK. So they're being a dick to either force a hard exit, which would be a positive for the EU (versus a deal). Or to cancel brexit entirely, which would also be a positive for the EU.

No.

This is at least true. The EU also absolutely does not care about anything
that resembles democracy.
The UK is the EU's second largest financial contributor, isn't it?

'Poland has not perished yet.
While we live
what foreign violence can take us.
We will collect the saber!'
