Are you for or against capital punishment?

They've been proven guilty.
By a flawed system.
You know who David Milgaard is? The Shawshank redemption was a movie.. this is real life, get it?
That's up to the lawyers and judges and juries to lose sleep over. I believe that murderers, child molesters, and rapists should be put to death (i.e. people who actually do that.) It's not up to me to correctly prove whether one is guilty of this or not.
(Mind you I'd change my stance once life in prison means life in prison- and the prisons are not fluffy kindgoms)
David Milgaard wasn't even sentenced to death. He's not even in a justice system that has capital punishment.

That's right, lucky for him. Had it happened in Texas, he'd be dead. Disagree? He was convicted of being a rapist and murderer.

I don't want the innocents dead- just the ones guilty of it. Not my problem if some jackass lawyer and dumbass jury mucks it up.
Oh, is that too cruel for your tender eyes to read? Oh, well.

Here's back to hoping your lawyer is the next one to muck up. Oh, do you find that offensive? Oh, well.
To bring an "eye for an eye" into play;
Murder = Tied to a post and the immediate familly all get baseball bats and 20 minutes in a room alone with the guilty party
Rape = drop you off naked in east LA with attactive racial slurs written all over you body
I think you get where I am going with this.
To answer, yes in appropriate cases.

One in 950,000,000,000,000. According to an RCMP biologist, that's the probability the human sperm cells found on Gail Miller's clothing did not belong to Larry Fisher. And what, I wonder, were the probabilities at play that day in 1969, when David Milgaard and his sorry band of friends dropped over to Albert (Shorty) Cadrain's house for a visit? The same precise house where the trail of belongings from Miller's body would lead: a knife handle, a boot, a wallet. The same house where Larry Fisher lived, with his wife, in the basement? Fisher, who later confessed to three other brutal rapes, conducted in his signature style - side grab attack, hand clamped over the mouth, knife at the throat- around the time of the Miller murder. Were the chances of Milgaard being in the wrong place at the wrong time that day as high as that DNA statistic for Fisher?
fat chance of it happening today.

No, I don't find it offensive. Haha, but before this edit, I sure made you shut up.
First off I believe that if someone does something along the lines of killing kids, killing multiple people or killing those people who have a duty of service Army (not in a time of war), police, fire, ambulance, doctors and nurses. If they show no remorse for the deeds, will reoffend again if released and have no hope of rehabilitation. All signs point to that person as the one who commited the offence. DNA evidence etc. Only under those circumstances do I feel it is right to employ the Capital punishment model.
Past that ...Life incarceration should be just that life if you are sent away for 25 years then away you go for 25 years no hope of parole. If you are sent away for 25 with parole... then you can apply to the parole board after... 15 years. At least now we have the dangerous offender legislation that will keep killers like bernardo, Olsen etc away from the public forever
oh by the way... that flu going around right now... I'd take capital punishment over going through that again... 3 days of absolute hell....
hmm absolute.... only a sith deals with absolutes....

Wrong.
technically wasn't Hawaii set into being a state after hostilities were over. The were a US protectorate weren't they at that time.. much like Guam, Midway etc.. So technically just becuase they had a base there doesn't mean it was on thier soil. Last attack on US soil would have been Santa Ana and his drive north to the Alamo... but was texas a state then... hmmm can't remember...

I will always sleep better knowing the mother f****r who murdered my wonderful father was put to death by lethal injection.
Dude. Sorry to hear that. Really.
Eesh, deleted that. Wanted to see how quickly someone's opinion on capital punishment changed.
Karma's going to be a bitch.
