I'm against the US forcing their bullshit on other countries in the name of so-called "democracy" and "freedom" when they bring no such thing, they are using these words as empty propaganda as an excuse to invade and control.
I'm definitely against the rest of the world becoming like the US. Your logic seems to be that "In the US we can kill Mowhawks for such acts and therefore this is morally right and Canada should too..." Sorry, but you can keep your laws and your fucked up moral codes, your hypocrisy, your propaganda and your arrogance.

The Mowhawk should just be thankful the OPP was there to keep them safe. First Nations people are a minority, and as such, they aren't likely to end up on the winning side when that kind of anarchy begins to unfold.

No, of course they don't. I'm not saying the attack was justified, I'm saying it was predictable.
If the Mowhawk decide that they are independent of the law, then they can hardly complain when the town's yahoos and rednecks carry on in the same way.
The Chateauguay riot was a perfect example of why the law has to apply to all. The alternative is just that type of anarchy and lawlessness.

Eyebrock..It seems that this is an 'Only in Canada' situation. I have yet to see any such occurance recently happen in any other part of the world. Maybe I don't follow the internal affairs of other countries but here it really bothers me.

It's not a land claim at all it's an attempt at extortion(Mohawk Warriors are a criminal organization at best , a terrorist group at worst). Property value goes up the natives figure it's a quick way to make an easy buck. Good way to supplement those monthly cheques.
